I admit, I know very little about the quest and the map changes ahead and stuff, but here is just an idea, as if the GMs are lacking.
Maybe the island can't be saved... everyone picks up their bags and great boats. Twenty years have passed and races have seperated, towns have been built, and things like that. So here we are, on a new island, with new towns, 20 years later. Now, here are the good aspects of this... First of all, it allows the GMs to move us to a new island if they wish so. Second of all, it allows for a lot of time to pass, for people to age, and legends of the past be born, which would be very interesting and make for some fun roleplay. It would also allow the GMs to place the language system, as the races would spread apart and not remember how to speak each other's languages.
Just a thought...

yeah..I have to agree with grant, ever one just packing up and leave no many poeple would get made beacuse it just happen and they could have been in some thing big with their char. story.Maybe if we were all gave like two or three months warning and had things move like faster in in-game time to finsh a few more years of our story...MAYBE how ever that would get very confuseing.oh and what about friends, guilds, lovers
if the just got split up i with out saying good bye I don't think that would be very good rp..
