Hunter's, a job for peace-time warriors.

Post by Gro'bul »

I notice alot of peacetime warriors bored out of their minds, so, I think animals and things when they die (with the exeption of flies) should have bodies lying dead on the ground with some blood coming from them. Then, the hunter could use the "hunting" skill to remove useful parts from the animal/monster with certain tools. Like he would need scissors and a dagger to remove the skin of a pig, and an axe to remove the ham. The better the skill, the easier and more useful monsters become to the economy. Mummies- insides are easily removed and intestine identified for thread. However in living things such as pigs and sheep, the insides can be quite confusing to the naked eye, the liver (if you've ever disected something) covers some of the inside parts. Most people in the middle ages who's skill wasn't butchering/meat processing didn't know a whole lot about anatomy. A new stationary machine could be the meat grinder, you could use insides with it to make uncooked ground meat. (with the exeption of undead insides which could be "rotton insides") or you could use regular meat like fish and ham as well.

That is one thing that upset me about Tibia. There were way too many dead bodies lying around everywhere. Like Grant said they need to go away quickly. Like 5 minutes or less.

Sorry if this is changing the subject, but people should have bodies on the ground too, when they die. I mean... where do the bodies go when people die? Perhaps the bodies disappear once the person who died reaches the cross. Once he goes to the cross, the body and soul are re-united and he lives again.

Well, i'm going to change the subiect again.I never like idea of "dieing" and then going to the cross,I think it makes it hard to role play you char. really dieing you say #me is close to death and someone tells you to walk to the cross,or a one time I yell some ways dieing and another person yelled back "Tell me when he's dead,I'll bering him back." .That could be called you are badly injured and need to wall To the yellow cross to recover.Or call it a near death experince.

Many say you are just "inbetween the realms of the living and dead".

Perhaps we could define the state of being cloud in the following way:

By becoming a cloud, it is like beeing a soul or a ghost, a state between life and death.
In this state, it is possible by the magic of the land of Illarion, to come back to real live or to fade away by time into real death
(decision of the player by rp, some have choosen death, like the orcs of the "Horde" after their last battle).
If there passes much time, the ghosts / souls are wandering to Chergas plain, a place outside the reach of the livings, where they maybe have a last chance to come back (as happened once to Badmosche and also Zasmia, this was only rp, no technical way).
And after being for longer time in the plains of Chergas, they would be death for ever.
(btw. Cherga is the goddess of death)

This might be a way to play by rp with the death, having a backgroundstory about the metaphysical requirements of our world.

A game I once played made it so that when you die, your body remains and you could take whatever they were carrying.
Also, I know alot of people are peeved about lag when they try to get to the cross as a cloud, also there is the matter of people blocking clouds. This game I once played also made it so that you can automatically teleport to the temple where you revive.

My thoughts..
