my idea would be (for the next client) that there will be a potion brewable
that is somehow like poison, and takes a little bit life in once, but the effect is holding a long time. that poison one should can put onto an arrow(like wind potion, just with poison)
poison arrows

A) There already is a poison in the game. Although it is usually called beer. Hehe
B)I beleive this has been posted before
C)If it hasn't, I like the idea, but in terms of the effects would it just be a more powerful arrow? Because if that's all it is it seems rather worthless because we already have wind arrows, which are the exact same thing.
D) In my opinion, if it were to come into play i beleive poisoned arrows should just become the new wind arrows, because wind arrows dont' really make much sense, but a poisoned arrow does.

Wind arrows are 'magical' in a druid sense. The potion makes them go faster, thus going further perhaps and causing more damage, that is the purpose of it. Putting poison on an average arrow wouldn't make it more powerful, it would only mean you are poisoned too. Like elvin said it would decrease your health over a certain ammount of time, but it should only do so for a set time, giving you the opportunity to find a cure. One such cure could be a 'poison heal' spell which I came across in a different rpg game some 6 months or so ago, I believe that is a good idea.

Yes, that is more reasistic, but i was thinking the poisoned arrow would act the same way the poison works by itself. if you drink the poison your health doesn't slowly decrease like you were poisoned, it just instantly jumps down some. I was just thinking for consistancy, the same poison should have the same effects no matter how it was injected.

Hermie, i was not talking about realistically, although you are correct with what you said, i was talking about what's already in the game, right now, as we speak. If you drink poison in the game it instantly drops your health, therefor i think the arrow should do the same.
(As the potion can not work any faster then instantly dropping your health, your idea about how it should work faster then drinking is correct, but inconcievable unless the drinking the potion effects are changed.)
