Lure and Log?
I dont know what the heck was going on, but I was standing outside the store, and a human comes out. A few seconds later an Ogre was following him out. He moved toward the river, then towards me(I was near the little smith place/depot), then he logged off leaving the Ogre in the middle of town, then walking toward me, but it didn't cause any problems, I didn't even know what was going on, but is that illegal?

thats happening often in the last days. some people lure any monsters into the town. it could be that this is an rp-thing. perhaps they want to show that the wall isn't usefull or anithing else. a few days ago i have seen two skeletons in town, you have seen them too fooser. one was in the tavern. i think they was lured into the town by someone. this is okay, if the person who lure them don't log off. but it could be that the human, who have lored the ogre, was fleeing. you said he walks out the shop? then the human was fleeing into the shop and the ogre was following him (i have heard somedays that monsters don't follow one into the shop, is this right?). but ogres are not very fast, everyone who runs away from one can get away without being followed until he reaches the town.

I was almost killed by a skeleton in town recently. I was wearing no weapons or heavy armor, just my overcoat, and used exactly the same tactic as described above to avoid the skeleton from finishing me off - I went into the library quickly, went to the second floor, then onto the roof, and then I jumped off it, then I shouted something like "Skeleton at The library!" and logged off. Worked. When I was back on, somebody already killed it. But monsters do follow you into buildings.
Another time I saw 3 scorpions near the forge on the other side of the stream. Me and another human warrior shot them with our bows.
Another time I saw a zombie in the tavern, standing behind the counter.
Either it is a message of some sort, or someone is messing around with evil intentions.

Heh, about my 2nd week in I was mining or tiring to. It was the morning and not many people were around, and I have no armor and little magic abilities at the time.
And a skeleton walks into town. I have to fight it with some ra kels that fail pretty often. It was fun though, really got the blood pumping, didn't know if I would die or not and a good challenge for a noobie.

@Konstantin
Fact is that logging to escape a bad situation is not consequent (spelling?) RP. If you got in trouble then let your Char solve it or die or run away IG. To log of to save your skills is no good style in my opinion. By the way why did you log off at all? You were safe as the skeleton prolly wont follow you and jump from the roof too. You could have easily run away so i dont get your reason for logging.
I dont accuse you of bad RP or something but i wouldnt have logged for such a reason and logged in after a few minutes, when it is safe again. Perhaps its only me and my view of consequent RP.

Hagen, I didn't mean to include logging as a part of my rescue. I went to the second floor, that's it. I just logged because I was in safety and was done playing for the day. Went to bed, you can say. It's not related to my escape. I would have obviously had the same result if I didn't log, don't you agree? The skeleton was inside anyway, and I solved my problem in a fair way. My point is that bringing things into buildings may not be necessarily evil or intentional, but means of escaping. But the fact I stated is that when I logged back on after some time - it was gone, so someone solved my problem for me. So basically, the ladder method worked.
