Lichterfest

Wir wollen uns versammeln, das Dunkel zu vertreiben und das neue Jahr in neuem Licht zu begrüßen. Mögen die Flammen die Erinnerungen an die dunklen Tage verschlingen und uns neue Hoffnung spenden. Auch in diesem Jahr werden Galmair und Cadomyr dieses Fest im Geiste unserer Allianz gemeinsam abhalten. Eingeladen ist ein jeder.

Wir treffen uns in Galmair auf dem Marktplatz am 15. Tanos, eineinhalb Stunden nach Mittag.
Dort werden wir mit dem traditionellen Lichtermarsch beginnen, welcher nach Cadomyr weiterführen wird, um dort schließlich das große Feuer zu entzünden.

Selbstverständlich wird es ein kostenfreies Portal geben und auch für Speis und Trank wird gesorgt sein, für ein fröhliches Miteinander. Dieses Mal findet das Fest etwas verspätet statt, in der Hoffnung, dass sich inzwischen alle erholen konnten und natürlich auf rege Teilnahme.

Festival of Lights

We want to gather, to banish the darkness and welcome the new year with new light. May the flames devour the memories of the dark days and bestow us with new hope. Again, Galmair and Cadomyr will hold the festival together, in keeping with the spirit of our alliance. Everyone’s invited, of course.

We shall meet at the market square of Galmair on Tanos 15th, one and a half hours past noon.

From here on out, we will start with the traditional March of Lights, which will continue to Cadomyr and end there in igniting the great bonfire.

There will be free portals, of course, and food and drinks will await us for a happy gathering. This time the festival will take place a little late, in the hope that everyone has been able to recover in the meantime and, of course, that there will be a lively attendance.

The Chamber of Commerce is celebrating it's Grand Opening of it's Guildhall at the Galmair Harbour, The Syrita's Siren Saloon, Bernie's Shoppe, Black Wyvern Company and it's various apartments for Chamber members. Festivities will be on the roof with songs and a extravagant Acrobatic Performance by Flannery the Bard, and drinks in the Triple S by our hostess, Dame Nala Thorhild.

*Flannery the Bard, dressed in sparkling black, laced with silver, will make a climb up a red silk banner 3-4 meters and perform death defying stunts as she performs upon the banner! It's a rare and dangerous performance! IF she lives, then she'll regale us with several original songs for our pleasure!

*Dame Nala Thorhild will provide drink and snacks for all with the opening of the Syrita's Siren Saloon (Triple S) as she hosts what we hope will become a weekly event of fellowship and cheer!

*All the while I, Bernie Bottoms, will be hosting tours of the new guildhall, built to encourage trade, crafting and business in Illarion, and through the harbour, with the rest of the World!

Come and celebrate with us, the biggest privately owned Estate by the greatest guild in Illarion!

Erste Hilfe Kurs

Aus gegebenem Anlass werde ich den Kurs über Erste Hilfe auf und jenseits des Schlachtfeldes erneut geben. Thema werden unter anderem das Stillen von Blutungen, das Richten von Brüchen, sowie die direkte Anwendung der wichtigsten Kräuter sein. Dies ist ein rudimentärer Kurs und erfordert keinerlei Vorkenntnisse. Wer am letzten Kurs teilgenommen hat, ist jedoch herzlich eingeladen, seine Kenntnisse aufzufrischen.

Der Kurs wird in der Versammlungshalle Galmairs abgehalten. (Gegenüber der Geldwechselstube)
Kursbeginn ist am 15. Ushos um eine Stunde und eine halbe nach Mittag.

Lecture on First Aid

Due to current events, I shall hold the lecture on first aid on and off the battlefield once more. Topics will include stopping bleeding, setting fractures, and direct application of key herbs. This is a rudimentary course and requires no prior knowledge. However, anyone who took part in the last course is welcome to refresh their knowledge.

The lecture will be held at the meeting hall of Galmair. (Opposite of the exchange office)
Starting on Ushos 15, one hour and a half after noon.

Der letzte Kurs fand erfreulicherweise reges Interesse und aktive Teilnahme. Da der vorgesehene nicht abgeschlossen werden konnte, wird der Kurs am 3. Ronas zur Mittagsstunde fortgesetzt, in der Hoffnung, dass dies allen bisherigen Teilnehmern gelegen kommt. Wir treffen uns erneut in der Versammlungshalle Galmairs. (Gegenüber der Geldwechselstube) Bitte denkt daran, Eure Materialien und Notizen mitzubringen.

Lecture on First Aid – Part II

The last course was well attended and met with great interest. As the planned one could not be completed, the course will continue Ronas 3 at noon, in the hope that this will be convenient for all previous participants. We will meet again in the Galmairs meeting hall. (Opposite the money exchange office) Please remember to bring your materials and notes.
