Ballads.

Post by Bidukan »

*Many parchments appear thrown on the ground for whole Illarion*

Inhabitants of this beautiful peninsula, allow me to entertain your journey with my little art.

The lonely little countess

The lonely little countess started off like you and I
Power to the people, from the rooftops she did cry!
Though once she slew the dragon, she took upon its ugly frame
Because the more that things do change, the more they stay the same.

The lonely little countess now sits in her ivory tower
Tossing and turning and grasping for endless power
"I am the only one!" she harks from high above
"Accepting any another would be simply unheard of!"

The lonely little countess lost all her little friends
But still she has so many! Or so she desperately pretends...
Her shadow shall always follow, it doesn't have choice!
"Even better!" she excites, "It doesn't have a voice!"

Now, sing a holy prayer for our lonely little countess
Frothing from the mouth, fates of others she shall suppress
The lonely little countess, it's likely safe to assume
With head so large and vain, will fill the noble tomb

The housemaid

A cook in the elven town
A tailor in the the desert
A housemaid of the knights
And now a lousy poet

Leading a desertic town
Where the honor is long time gone
You will find there none holding a sword
But a few with arrows and bow

No duels, no games
Royal jesters and poets
Instead of true knights
On charge

Yesterday a Thornstar
Before a Ross
Now a Brightrim
Tomorrow who knows

The jewel of the desert

They say there is a jewel
Anchored in the desert
As you approach to the gates
It’s image can convert

There is said in stone
This is a realm of honor and glory
But when you take a closer look
You realize there is another story

The Arena is empty
Not a warrior, not a weapon
Not even an used shield
This is a fraud, I reckon

The temple of Malachín
Lacking of devotes I believe
Such a heavy offense
This makes me want to leave

As you walk within the inner town
An insane knight you can meet
For a few dirty silvers
She sells gems in the street

Gems received by the Queen
In reward for services
Such a dishonour to sell them
Eternal shame for the courtesans

When you ask for the countess
Begging to stop this
They tell you she is too busy
Having some fun with her miss

This is the story
Of Cadomyr, once great
Once upon a time a kingdom
Now a piece of dead weight

Concert.

Post by Bidukan »

Dear inhabitants of the whole Illarion,

Don't miss the chance to come to my concert, on 5th Siros, at the Hemp Necktie Inn.

There will be drinks and food for sale. And for 40 silvers,I can compose a customized ballad about the subject of your choice.

With kind regards and expecting your presence,

PREACERDHAL IN CADOMYR

Beneath the Letma mount
Gathering evil from a fount
Lies Preacerdhal, the demon of old
At least that's what I’ve been told

It is known the demon has many faces
And we found in Cadomyr its last traces
The kingdom is harbouring Reace
Refusing to deliver him and keep the peace

Acerd is also in the desert hiding
What? You have to be kidding
They are demonic entities no doubt
The countess' head either drought or devout

The guests arrived in Mas
Attempting division, alas
Don’t you think it’s strange?
It’s time for a change

No doubt we live in time of dangers
But fear not, here they come.... It's the Rangers!
Blessed with big determination
They will finish the evil creation
