Wrestling could be more than just another HP damage dealer, instead it could have different effects. Also we would avoid the question about wich armor-classes it would effect more than others. A lvl 100 Wrestler should be able to stun an untrained defender (parry + highest armor class skill)/2 = 0) 100%. While a trained defender (parry + armor/2)=50 should be subdued in his actions ~50% of the time - and so on.
Well it propably needs to be balanced but that sounds to me like a reasonable calculation to begin with (i have no idea how to include the bonus from items yet...).
- Most of the damage could aim for the AP of an opponent, since wrestling is often associated with grappling or subduing an opponent.
- I think there could be a very high multiplier for critical attacks, so only those would do considerable damage to HP.
- Special attacks could be knocking an Opponent to the ground or stunning it.
