The front gate appears to be under siege from an army of undead. Liches, Unholy Acolytes, and who knows what else. Horatio is holding them off, but I'm not sure how long he will hold up.

Do not take the teleporter into town until further notice. Two have fallen due to the sheer amount of mages that Artimer and I are attempting to clear out. If you are stranded in another town stay there and help man their walls.

My sister Dame Caiah Daekash apologizes for her absence in this time of need. Apparently she was one of the unlucky ones to take the teleporter in order to return to Cadomyr with plans to assist and ran into the evil monsters of Mas. Pausing to listen to my whispered warning was our downfall I fear. I am very happy Cherga sent her back, however her injuries will have us in bed healing for awhile.

The teleporter has been secured and is safe to use again. Skeletons still surround the town, but can now be dealt with by skirmish units.

P.S. The smell of rotting sheep from the little isle should dissipate in a few days.

Uncertain if this has been reported:

There is a trail of blood going from the rotting sheep by the front gate (the statues with water around them), into the town, through the marketplace, around the tavern and ending in another pile of sheep corpses just outside the west entrance to the tavern. I shall proceed with clean-up and questioning of the locals for any sighting of the entity or person responsible for the mess.

P.S. I woke up in my own body today. It seems that the messenger, who was deemed untrustworthy and hastily slain by the Sea Serpent like many messengers that we get, was trustworthy.

Thank you for the report. If someone might gather a group of citizens to clean up after this past Mas, it would be much appreciated. Bury the sheep corpses far from town. It would be even more appreciated if you can find a way to the small island to remove the corpses there.

Dere was a bone man at dah mine, but meh hab slain it. Dere culd be more around so shuld be careful outside dah city.

I found a pair of skeletons terrorizing the sheep, and took care of them. I took a short walk around the area and did not find anything else, but please be on your guard everyone. There is another on the island outside the gates, but the only ranged weapon I have is a sling.
