Akaltut found alive and living in the Border Mountains east of Cadomyr! Many monsters were found deep underground within her fortress, making an exploration highly dangerous. It is strongly recommended that teams be formed if anyone wishes to explore.

In running for my life from all the undead around the lava pools, I did slip into the well near the old hedge mage that burned down some time ago, trying to find a safe refuge. Inside, I found some halflings living there and it would seem some other unseemly sorts have moved in! If you climb down a rope inside this well, do be careful!

I am offering a reward of one pure spirit for the first one giving me good information as to where the entrance to where this underground lake can be found. Please send a parchment with details. Only the first one earns the reward.

I fear it may never be found and my reward of one pure spirit will forever go unclaimed. Remember, to claim it, you must send me a parchment as the first parchment received wins. Lake of Life found! Brave souls fought their way through gruesome lizzies to get to what was hoped to be the opening to the underground lake. After moving an enormous boulder, we discovered the prettiest sight these old eyes ever did see! It be a beautiful thing! I beseech you all to look at it for yourself. Just follow the old road east out of Galmair that used to lead to the Hempty Tavern and you will eventually find a little hole there surrounded by piggies, which leads down to the most dazzling sight I ever did see in all my years of exploring! My words just don’t do it justice. Unfortunately, it was sealed temporarily for the safety of travelers. Speak to Galmairians to find out plans to infiltrate and research what is below.
Oh yes, regarding the reward, it was given to a lizzy by the name of a Teptoc. Thank you for your help.

Der See des Lebens wurde gefunden! Tapfere Seelen haben sich ihren Weg durch grausige Echsenmenschen gekämpft, um zu dem zu kommen, was wir uns als Eingang zum unterirdischen See erhofften. Nachdem ein gewaltiger Felsbrock beseitigt wurde, entdeckten wir das Schönste, was diese alten Augen je gesehen hatten! Es ist ein wunderschönes Gebilde! Ich bitte euch alle inständig es euch selbst anzusehen. Folgt einfach der alten Straße nach Osten aus Galmair, welche zur Hempty Taverne führt und ihr werdet schließlich ein kleines Loch finden, umgeben von Schweinchen, welches hinab zu dem glänzendsten Gebilde führt, dass ich in all meinen Jahren der Erforschung je gesehen habe! Meine Worte werden dem Anblick nicht einmal gerecht. Unglücklicherweise ist es zur Zeit zur Sicherheit von Reisenden verschlossen. Redet mit Galmairiern um herauszufinden was geplant wird um dort durchzudringen und erforscht was dort unten ist.
Achja, die Belohnung wurde einem Echsenmensch namens Teptoc übergeben. Danke für deine Hilfe.

The strange structure in the Northern woods has expanded even further. I thought my eyes deceived me, but alas no, there is a completed tower now in the middle of the construction. This explorer does not know if he is brave enough to go back again and find out its real purpose.

Dieser Forscher weiß nicht, ob er mutig genug ist, um nocheinmal dorthin zurückzugehen und den wahren Zweck dieser Konstruktion herauszufinden.

The Lake of Life has been explored! It is a wondrous site, but be wary, it is full of lizzies of ill intent. Found on the road, heading east out of Galmair, this location is great for those that like to see new things. I’ve heard tell of a nice lizzie, who lives on an island on the lake. She does like to be visited. Do bring her gifts if you go to see her. You will need to take a boat from the dock to get to her little island.

Explorer's Report 19th Bras 45
Due to an illness some be calling gout me not be exploring this week. Instead this week's explorer's report will deal with the best poultice recipe for gout. First thing is to gather a large quantity of foot leaf, the larger your foot be the more ya need. Gathering can be hard if ye can’t walk, I recommend crawling on ye knees or grabbing a wandering kid to do your work. Once you have them, crush them up in a mortar if you got it.. if not chew them up and spit them out. To this add heath flower and firnis blossom. Coat your feet with this mixture and prop them up for a few days and ye will be as good as new. Me also recommends a bottle of fine rum. Ye going to have to kill the time doing something. Drinking is me preferred way.

Explorer's Report! 16th Malas 45
I um, have to ask for another favor from all of you great explorers out there. Seems to be that I’ve lost my old walking stick. Now, I’d just replace it, but, ya see, this one is mighty special to me as it was carved long ago by my great, great, great, grand pappy, and has been in the family ever since, handed down to the eldest son in the family for generations. So it is highly important that I find it. Now, I do recall having it with me when I rested my head somewhere fairly safe for a quick nap after gathering some herbs. There may have been cows making noise, I can’t recall exactly. Then I woke up and wandered off, collecting more herbs, leaving it, shamefully, behind. As you know, I tend to travel a bit, so it could be anywhere. It sure would mean a lot to me if someone could find it for me. I’ve another pure spirit here if someone could send me a note with the location. I sure would be grateful.

Nun, ich würde ihn ja ersetzen, aber wisst ihr, dieser eine ist mir besonders wichtig, da er vor sehr langer Zeit von meinem Urururgroßvater geschnitzt wurde und seitdem immer im Familienbesitz war, übergeben an den jeweils ältesten Sohn der Familie und das seit Generationen. Daher ist es mir sehr wichtig ihn zu finden. Ich erinnere mich ihn bei mir gehabt zu haben, als ich mich irgendwo an einem wirklich sicheren Platz für ein kurzes Nickerchen hingelegt habe, nachdem ich Kräuter sammeln war. Da könnten Kühe gewesen sein, die Lärm machten, aber ich kann mich nicht genau erinnern. Dann wachte ich auf und ging davon, um mehr Kräuter zu sammeln und lies den Wanderstock zu meiner Schande zurück. Wie ihr wisst wandere ich häufig, daher könnte er überall sein. Es würde mir natürlich viel bedeuten, wenn jemand ihn für mich finden könnte. Ich habe ein weiteres reines Geist-Element, falls jemand mir also eine Nachricht mit dem Fundort schicken könnte, wäre ich sehr dankbar.

I went down into Galmair’s sewers recently and about tripped over my boot buckles I was so surprised. It would seem a new area has been discovered! An old dwarven area where it would seem some dwarves did feast and hold court or some such nonsense. Something I don’t hold no particulars about. The areas look to be fine old places, shame they are used as sewers now, holding all sorts of nasty creatures.

Ich bin kürzlich in die Abwasserleitungen von Galmair hinuntergegangen und über die Schnallen meiner Stiefel gestolpert, so überrascht war ich. Es scheint als wäre eine neue Gegend entdeckt worden! Ein alter Zwerge- Bereich, wo einige Zwerge scheinbar geschmaust und gefeiert haben und anderen Unsinn anstellten. Etwas, was ich nicht so genau beschreiben möchte. Die Bereiche sehen nach wirklich alten Plätzen aus, schade, dass sie nun als Abwasserleitungen benutzt werden und allerlei nervige Kreaturen enthalten.

I managed to get behind some well-trained fighters and we… well… they fought their way into the Fortress Hammerfall as I hid behind them. While this is a well-known area for most of you, we happened upon a place where we saw some dwarves slipping behind a wall. We knocked that there wall down and found an entrance to another level of the mine down below! Imagine everyone’s surprise! If you try to survey this new level, be mighty careful!
I haven’t heard a word from no one yet, has nobody tripped over my old walking stick? I’m still offering a grand reward for its recovery. Send me a note if you do happen to find it.
