Illa Art Thread :D
I'm thinking this is an okay spot for this, because it happened on Gobaith one sad afternoon, outside Troll's Bane. I've been busy with uni work, and hears what I had to show for a few days layout excercise. Hope you like:
I think it would be nice if people posted some Illa related artwork, in the spirit of raising VBU morale. I always say I want to help with it, but I always get sidetracked, but occasionally I'll do something like this. Even if you don't consider yourself an artist, come have a crack. Should be fun to see a few creations.

Re: Comic!
Thanks! I'm still hoping someone else may post a drawing... I'll post a couple more things in a little while.
Re: Comic!
This profound image drawn by myself, depict the struggles, and deep emotional conflicts my character has had to endure and overcome during his time in illarion, I believe it depict his inner self perfectly.
Re: Comic!
It's a truly beautiful piece. Though the wizard smiles, his eyes belie a certain sadness. Almost as if the acquisition of runes was not the end all to his problems. I like your work! Keep it up! ^^
Re: Comic!
Indeed, and even deeper still we travel to the very core of the man. His inner most thoughts depicted and enraptured.

Actually I think that's supposed to be my human character on the left. >_>
Re: Illa Art Thread :D
Just did this at my desk on a sticky note. Just some adventurers arguing over a map.
Re: Illa Art Thread :D
When I was a GM, I did a large nonlinear quest which was about 200 hours of playtime long. After I finished I threw together a bunch of easter eggs. One of which was a crudely drawn MS Paint "Quest Book" which vaguely detailed the plot of the quest, but in a manner that would be extremely confusing to anyone who didn't participate.
Regardless, it's still mildly amusing to me. I just reupped it to my site.
It also contains a plan I sent to one of the players of a questchar telling him what he essentially had to do during the quest finale. Most of the time though, everything was only planned with an outline, so players could completely change the course of the quest.
But anyway, here it is:
Link.
It also contains some previously omitted pages, which I left out at the time because some players complained early on in the quest and I thought it might seem passive aggressive to make a joke of it when it was still recent. It's been a couple of years now, however, so whatever. It was all in good humour at the time, anyway.

Looking back I enjoy the background detail I managed to get in there, like the Seahorse Inn permanently being on fire.Grokk wrote:Ahahahaha. That was brilliant.
