Used to be, when one used a saw with a tree, one could get boughs and branches, leaving the tree still standing (to a point).
I was wondering if there is still a way to do this as I hardly get anything but logs when cutting a tree down.
Thanks.

Re: Using a Saw
I had totally forgotten about the saw. Now you just use a hatchet for all things and the more your skill is, the more boughs/branches (apples and cherry) and logs from all trees. Apparently you have to cut down all trees now.

Well bugger.
Guess I'll just depopulate the forest... hmm, I wonder how many elves are still guarding Vanima?
