Weil ich mit dem Thema angefangen habe, fange ich an. / I'll beginn, as I started this topic.

Welches ist besser? /Wich one is better?

Und was sollte man verbessern?/And what should be improved?

I used to have one on Robert that i drew myself and i thought it was an amazing work of art.

However, I was asked to take it down as a few players couldn't take me seriously... Just like everyone else i know

I'd have to say the more detailed one but i couldn't tell you how it could be improved in my own opinion unless i saw your characters profile

Espacially the first two of them.

Drawing the Amor (in the first picture) lookes like it has been as lot of work. So may details!

What coloures did you for the picture of Marianne?
The style is interesting.

Thanks for your feedback, Miriam. Actually the drawing of murgos third armour was the most work. But easier because I got more experiance then.

I used Acryl for Miriannes picture.

After I added some kind of background, I use the coloured picture of Marina as her character picture now.
I made some new pictures.

Here are two pictures of Niya.
I was lazy and used fotos as a background.




The first one is now also in Niya's character description.
But I like the second one better, I think Niya lookes a bit older. (Maybe I'll use it later.)

What do you think?

@Skamato: I like the comic-like style this picture. It creates a happy atmosphere.
(Der comic-hafte Zeichenstil lässt das Bild unbeschwert wirken.(<- Dont know how to translate that.)
Is it a hafling on the picture?

@themonk: It may not be colored, but the anatomy and the viewpoint make Gurk look alreday very impressiv.

@ Miriam, i just used crayons , thats why he isnt finshed because i only had a few colours and wanted different shades of green. I will complete him eventualy, there is actualy more on the drawing it goes down to his knees and he has a leather bag on his side, i will try and put the full picture on with completion its just hard to get the full photo on the iphone, have to stand 5foot away then you cant see it very well

My Picture of Ryun is just a combination of two pictures I've found, as i cant draw at all, although I'm quite decent when it comes to editing, repairing and modifying existing pictures (work related skill ). Still pondering if i should blur him out a bit to match the surrounding better.

Its still a Work om progress as i'm still pondering if blue hair fits or if I should shade it to dark brown.

I would say brown hair is better, because the cape in purple is so bright and eyecatching, that the blue hair seems to be a bit irritating. Maybe that's just the fault of my PC-screen. xD
I think it's good that you give credit to the persons who drew the pictures.That's important.

hmm yes i think your right, i could always shade the cape blackish thou aswell.

Made an alteration of the hair, while i might do some finish up on the hair's edges to soften the transfer of the layer i think it worked out pretty well.

still pondering if i should change the cloak, it'll be a hassle, but do-able with enough time.

hehe, perhaps i should remove them, would affect the quality, but i think with a bit of imagination and work its always possible to copy the suit and cover over the buckles.

- Photoshop
- ArtRage
-Gimp
- ...

Ich jedoch bevorzuge die altmodische Variante.
Mit der Hand zu zeichnen und dann das Bild zu scannen

I'd recommend either Photoshop (costs alot thou)
or GIMPshop for mac, ( a gimp version which behaves quite similar to Photoshop, although it might just be because am used to Photoshop from work).





On another case, Does the Avatar of Ryun look better with a blue cloak? I've done some Rough work, although i might have to do some additional work on it.



edit: Changed the picture to a updated version, cloak is still "rough" and unpure, but repaired on some damaged sections, and purified about 50% of the multicolor sections.
