So now I have the client stable, but its laggy.

I always have lag, I have a slow connection, my average ping time to illarion.org is about 250ms. (Yep that bad). However on this connection, I have played LOTRO and multiple UO servers etc. So I assume my crappy connection can play the game.
What I am experiencing is freezes, a lot of lag between pressing an arrow and character actually responding. So I suppose its packet loss, ping plotter shows the occasional 10% loss when pinging www.illarion.org. So I guess the question is anyone have any ideas to get it running smoother? How do I find Illarion to add it as a allowed program through win7 firewall, is that even necessary?
I will keep messing around with it but just thought I would see if anyone had any brilliant ideas. Yes a better connection would be the solution but not an option

Thanks for the link, I just did not see Illarion on the selectable list. I am probably looking for the client files in the wrong location.

Well, it is not too safe but I have other security programs to cover it and just allowed java in mine , hopefully others will have a better solution.

Seems my connection is just to crappy, Illarion client seems to hate packet loss or at least require a stable connection.
I will be moving closer to town in a month or two, once I have a decent connection I will be back properly. Until then expect me to pop in and pop out literally
