Digging on stone areas ; Pick-axes are supposed to work on that (atleast I was told so, never tested it)
Cutting palm trees; not sure that is possible

Digging on trees is possible,..hard stones arent diggable.
The tool is a Shovel.

Mineing, is beneficial.

There is no need to cut down bushes with a hatched, or smashing the ground with a pikaxe.
The only thing you need, to free a treasure is a shovel and a good mining skill.

There are 18 different ground textures and some of these aren´t digable.
Grafics, like stones, rocks or trees and little bushes, aren´t
important. You can go next to them and digging beneath.

The Tile you`re digging on, isn´t the Tile under your Char`s feet.
It`s the Tile in front of you.

If you`re unlucky, your treasure is under one of those Tiles, then you can´t dig it up.
These maps are junk.

Non-digable grounds are:
(bridges, rocky ground, caveground, rockwalls, wooden floor, boardwalks, lava, under walls, cobbled ground, water and carpet )

Digable grounds are:
(acre, grasland, loamy ground, sand, snow, forest soil and red wood)

Im a link, to the Wiki

hope that helped.

You can't dig on the street, but the way tiles merge together might have made it look like you were, when it was actually just a grass tile.

You've been misguided.

Quick question, same topic but a bit off. I remember going on treasure hunts before(1 or 2 years ago), killing the skeletons allowed you to dig up the treasure with ease. Now the skeletons respawn right after the last skeleton is killed off, making it some what hard to dig up that treasure. Did I find a treasure map that leads to a spawn point or was this normal and I just never noticed(Getting Alzeimer's)?

South of Bane, there's a Fortress/Keep type of building. South of that in the woods with a tad to the east, but just a tad.

Yeah I never dug it up, so now I got map to a spawn zone. Nifty!

Now I only wish I could dunk it in a bucket of dye to differentiate it from the regular treasure maps.
YEAH! and then..
Then I'd need a copy command to duplicate them..
Oh yeah..
To start a little geographical catalog of the spawn points and sell them to the fighters and mages.
That's the ticket..
Oh I can imagine the profits now..
oh well, I don't think that's gonna happen even with the VBU.

You'll be surprised ;)

That sounds like the half-rebuilt-but-then-abandoned Kallahorn which has a spawn nearby. The southern woods aint called the "Skeleton Woods" for nothing buddy.

There's a clever script which makes them appear around you, great for fighting with a pack.

Kallahorn is east of the yard.

Oh yeah I'm aware of the woods, but you go a little bit away in any direction and all's quiet, the type of quiet where you don't hear trees fall. But go to that spot the map leads you to and BOOM spawn, then respawn, then another re.. you get the gist

Spawn map for sale!

Not that someone would ever want to buy a map to powergame their character. Because powergaming is wrong. Right?

Umm yes of course...who would ever do such a thing as that..

On another note though it's alright Arvemor... it's just fine to be powergaming challanged. (*giggle!* *tee hee!*)
