Beware, danger is in town!

Post by Hermie »

Greetings, I have unfortunate news,

There was an orc attack today in the forest by the tavern, they were quickly dealt with.

Also, scorpions and flies were found in the library, on the first floor on the balconies. We have a summoner/necromancer in our midst.

On other notes, a strange old orc tried to poison Galadria, one of our finest Priestesses. He was seen dead near the orc attack and I am concerned he had something to do with the attacks today.

Also, a weak lizard was found amongst the orcs. It was only till I took all my armour off that he tried nibbling my boots to death ...

Be on your guard citizens, these monsters may lurk in the shadows of the public buildings.

A bird flies over the town, dropping a small piece of paper...

Hello...
From what I hear there attack in the town. I am still awaiting to get on this island, so I cannot help. I'm still on boat, waiting to reach the land. My crew and I seemed lost awhile back. Now that we have figured out the right location, I should arrive soon. Until then, I will enjoy the beer that was loaded carefully onto the boat. The beer will not last forever, so I am hoping to arrive soon. I am looking forward to speaking to the other dwarfs that already exist on this island.

Grimlock smiles.

It could take many days before I get there. If it is possible, try to contact me in some way. Send beer! I'm sure I will be out in about four to five weeks. I have lost contact with my home land, so I cannot contact them. I will very much thank one who sends beer. I believe I am far north of your land. If there were only some tool to fly the beer across the waters.

Grimlock grumbles.

I will have to drink slowly...very slowly.

Grimlock gives a confusing look.

I'm not sure of what you are saying. You should explain a little more on what you mean by saying that the newcomer is a summoner. The only clue that entered my head was that you think I am a summoner. I do not summon things. I do wish I can summon a nice cold beer though. Please send me beer. Again, I am somewhere north of the island. If you spot me, or think of some way to drop a box full of beer, it would help me a lot. Many of you think I will only get drunk and mess up my plans of getting to the island. Well..I'm sure it won't happen.

"Lasukie wraps a keg of beer and gets five doves to fly it to ironbeard"

Hello. These attacks may be cuased by unhappyness, if talking fails,t hen fight. If they are weaker, there is no sense in death.

Whether summoner or not, these are people.

Alright, the orc attack was a group of about a score of rebel orcs whom I believe were led by the old orc whom poisoned Gala. The rebel orcs muct have turned on him as he was seen dead by my friend Drathe.

The necromancer was not seen and there are no suspects either. There were a handful of scorpions and a few flies.

To those coming to our island; Get yourself a job and buy some armour, flies and scorpions will have a hard time trying to kill you, and when the orcs are attacking take shelter underground or above ground. The monsters of our isle fight like no other so you may need to re-train yourself to adapt to their technique.

I will fight any orcs that dare harm the people. Is there a thought of another attack? Or is there thinking that the leader has been killed already?

Why would the orc's be attacking the fair people of this town?A summoner... haven't heard of one in at least 150 years of my elven life of the power they behold to summon up beasts of emmense power.

*sigh* But flies that are being summoned are not by a powerful summoner but one of his apprentice. When their is a apprentice there is a master, this master could be the doom to Trollsbane. As he could summon up powerful and destructive demons or even the animals of the earth to do thier dirty work.

All I know is this seems alot like what happened to me in my earlier years before my parents were slaughtered like animals... I shall keep a look out for orcs as I live in the forest myself.
