Cannot enter the messages

A friend of mine can't access his messages.
We've read the FAQ together but he apparently did everything which is required. He has activated his account and everything else.
He can play the game and access his characters, but not his messages.
The player name is Kaique_o_cat (displayed name Markie)

What messages do you speak of?

Notifications would be sent by email, there's no such thing as a 'character inbox' or something, though if he makes a forum account people will send private messages to him.

I'm talking about the private messages, "doves". Maybe he doesn't have the 'forum account'. I'll chek it.

Ah allright.

Private messages are only in the forum. The forum account is completely unlinked to your normal account - no magic link or anything, so its best if your friend chooses a forum account name people will recognise as linked to his character.

Otherwise you can have multiple forum accounts (for different characters perhaps) but only one illarion account (multis will get caught).

But there is no real mechanical IG messaging system or anything - though messages through the RP/Guild/Trade forum or IC PMs are allowed and encouraged.
