Ever since the crash lastweek and after the servers came back online I have not been able to connect to the server is there still a problem with the american side of the game?

I can connect just fine, and I am in the US. What error do you get?

Says it cannot find the server

Since this is a problem that only occures on your end, there's little one can do with the limited informations you provide.

You should start looking if you have changed java, firewall, proxy or router settings since the last time you played.

Like Kei here said, that error message is an error that occurs with the host client, not the server. The common problem is Java, from what i can tell. Java +Vista + Illa don't go well together.

download j2re1.4.2 SDK, then use Java web start, and put this adress in the adress field:
