A bottle can be found drifting in the river at Trollsbane east gate, among the reed.. Inside of it is a dirty piece of parchament full with blood-stains and ink dots.. Upon taking it out and unfolding it you read a short message written by a shaky hand: ".. Help.. Isles of Siran....." and the ink trails off..

The young boy was wandering down the river alone, constantly bowing down and making alluring sounds by clicking his tongue and calling his cat. Still he had not found it, and the worry slowly came to his eyes, as he searched the bank for the small animal.
She can look after herself... she will be back. Although he had been looking for her for hours now, he repeated it again and again in his mind. She will be back.
The boy, no more than 15 years of age, climbed over one of the slicky rocks, when he suddenly recognized the bottle in the water. With knitted brows he fished it out, reading the parchment with some difficulties, cursing as he did not understand half of the words.
"Hell.... is low..." He cursed even more not being able to read the last bit because water had destroyed the message as well.
"Whoever thought of this joke..."
The boy shrugged, and taking the parchment in his pocket, walked on searching for the cat. All he thought about the piece of parchment was that it would be good to take it to light a fire later that night, and so flee the cold underneath the bridge he had decided to sleep underneath.
