Draken and Sssari have already entered the hole before Rugh'toh arrived and have followed the sound and is hiding in a corner looking at olive on the alter and some people standing around chanting

He stared down into darkness. After a while he meant to hear very silently a strange sound, like somone would speak... no... chant.

He pressed his lips together and then carefully stepped down the ladder.
As he arrived on the ground he immediatly scurried to a wall, leaned against it with is back and examined the cave. He did not see anything but heard the chantings only.

He unsheated his sword and then slowly followed the sound. He walked along the wall, being very carefeully.

Then, suddenly he meant to see two shadow in the darkness, standing at a corner from where behind the chants seemed to come from.

He narrowed his eyes and tried to recognise the two who were standing there. He did not move, was nearly one with the dark stone wall behind him. Just his greenish narrowed eyes might glim softly in the darkness, staring at the two.

The journey down was slow, the ladder creaking under your weight. The tunnel became darker as you descended, however a soft glow at the bottom signaled the end.

On the bottom, a torch flickered on the wall, and the tunnel continued to the Northwest. You recognize this as a 'dead' end of the catacombs below the cemetary.

Following the tunnel carefully, you look out for zombies, but tonight, they are strangely absent except for a Horned helm and Bolt of black cloth on the Dungeon Floor.

Cautiously moving within the shadows, the tunnel opens up to a Chamber. The Chamber has a Marble floor, partially covered by Carpet, upon which stand four Black Pillars and Torchlights. In the middle stands an Altar, upon which lies a female body, battered and glistening in Blood.

Before the altar stands A large figure dressed in a Black Cult robe, hooded and holding a skull staff up above the altar. Surrounding him are 4 smaller 'cult' members, also dressed in Black hooded robes.

The chanting continues.....
"Zi Zamba du!"
"Zi Kanda Du!"

Suddenly, all goes quiet, and the figure in the middle, the "High Priest", holds up his arms. In one hand, an ornate dagger glistens in the Firelight.

He bellows in a deep Baritone voice, "Mighty Cherga! We Offer this woman in your name! Bestow upon us your strength, your power and your destruction!"

With that, before you have time to react, he plunges the dagger into the woman's belly!

"Aaaaarrrrrraaagghhhhh!!!" the women screams, flinching from the pain, blood dripping down from the altar, pooling upon the floor.

Surprised, the "priest" stops, withdraws the Blade and clutches her on the Belly.

Angrily, the Priest yells, "Where is it!!!....."

The priest slaps the woman, but all she can do is weakly clutch her belly, bleeding from the thrust of the dagger.

The 'followers' stop chanting and begin shifting nervously.

The "High Priest" walks over to one of them, momentarily ignoring the woman, and deals a striking Blow to the follower, yelling "Where is it!!!", knocking the follower to the ground in a flurry of black robes.

The "High Priest" stands over the follower, his back turned away from whoever may be in the tunnel. Three other followers stand between you and him, but they nervously watch their 'fellow' take his 'punishment'.

The woman turns her head toward the tunnel, unseeing, but she has a slight grin and tears in her eyes. She looks like she is in Pain and Joy at the same time.

Rugh'toh did not see what happened, still standing at the wall. As he finally recognised Ssari he was about to step closer.

Then he heard the loud scream of a common voice... her voice.

"She still alive beh?" flashed through his mind.

He pressed his lips together and slowy stepped behind the two who still were standing at the corner.

With a soft grunt he introduced himself, then he whispered while loud noise was heard from the Altar chamber.

"Meh nub wunt smahsy one ob yoo two. Meh tinks we beh here fer same reason."

Then he leaned forward to have a look into the chamber. The first thing he saw was the eyes of Olive which stared with a strange glim directly into his own greenish eyes.
Rugh stopped breathing as he saw her eyes. Then he took notice of the dagger which stick in her belly.

A strange feeling of hate began to overwhelm him. Althogh Olive betrayed the orcs, betrayed himself, the Chief, Rugh still felt with Olive as she would be her sister.
The blood in his veins began to seethe. His eyes narrowed. Spittle began to fill his mouth. Not any longer and he would accomodate the rising desire for vengeance.

Sssari is frozen in terror, part by the sudden appearance of Rugh, the other from the ritual and resurrection of Olive. All Sssari can do is nod slowly at Rugh, and stare endlessly into the fire lit chamber where the chanting and now yelling is coming from.

The high priest towers over the follower, who cringes in terror from him on the floor. Another follower breathes, and squares his shoulders before walking to the High Priest.

"Sire" the acolyte says.

The 'high Priest' whirls around, his scarred, bearded face briefly visable for a moment in the torchlight.

"What is it!" he bellows.

"Sire, it may be near still. We saw someone walking across the desert before we found her near the gates of the dwarves." the acolyte says.

"Fool!" the high priest says, while smacking the acolyte across his jaw sending him whirling to the ground too. "You did not think to follow him!"

The high priest then kicks the acolyte in the stomach, then says to the other two, "Get him up." which they do as quickly as possible.

The high priest sighs, then turns to the three of them, and extends a finger to them, pointing to a parchment in hand. "You see this?" he asks.

The three of them nod in unison.

"If this comes true, you all will die." he says, then pauses, "no...you shall live death....the 'Kamdu'"

This causes one of them to Gasp. The other two seem unsteady.

"Now...grab that..."points to the woman, "and follow me!"

The three then rush to the altar, almost bumping into each other. One grabs her legs, and one on each arm, they lift her up, and carry her following the High Priest who has turned and is now approaching the tunnel!

From your perspective in the tunnel, you can faintly see the High Priest is 'mature', redheaded and bearded. A large scar runs across his face from temple to chin, and underneath his hood, appears to be horns, causing the hood to stick up in a few points. He and the three followers approach.

((You may RP a rescue/fight, or go back, and wait.))

Rugh listened carefully to the words spoken by the Priest. As the Priest spoke about finding the person who walked through the desert, he starts to grin madly and thinks "Yoo whub find hims earlier den yoo expect..."

As the priest and his followers began to rush to the Altar, Rugh leaned back. Before he had a close look at the weapons the followers might carry with them.

Hidden by the stone wall from the eyes of the priest, Rugh'toh stared with flaming eyes to the lizard and the human. He examined both and then whispered to the human:

"When dey come around da corner, yoo go fer da weaky followers whoo carry female! Free her!"

Then he whispered to the lizard: "Yoo and meh go fer Priest!"

Rugh leaned at the stone wall again, his blades ready and hungry for blood. He motioned the human to step in front of him to surprise the followers and to cause confusion. He also motioned the lizard to step behind himself.

He continuously mumbled "...beh patient.... beh patient..." until the robe of the first follower appeared around the corner. Then he let out a silent grunt "...now...!" to make the human go and start the attack.

*A tall slender man with long well kept hair that is held in a high braided pony tail held up with leather straps and 6 long steel pins, wanders by the graveyard.. hearing a scream he decides to take a look, his eye's darkening to a coal shade of black. Getting closer he drops silently into the depths staying well hidden in the shadows.. he crouches quietly his skin become more pale as his heart rate drops a bit.. he pulls a black cloth scarf over his face leaving room for only his coal eyes.. patiently he waits scanning the darkness for any hint of life. *

"Huh?" the acolyte says, just before he sees stars from a leather fist!

He drops, dropping the feet he was carrying, causing a groan to come from the woman.

As soon as they see the Lizard, the followers stop, then drop the woman, unsure what to do next.

"Kill Them!" the High priest says, pushing one of the acolytes toward the tunnel entrance by the Orc, distracting your view for a moment.

The followers then draw poisoned daggers and attempt to kill the trespassing heathens, ignoring the woman on the floor.

The high priest is noticably absent (or hiding in the shadows) as the acolytes advance upon you. In his haste, he forgot something by the altar, but Watch out!

Sssari, having been taken off balance from the sudden, as the acolytes charge, he barly ducked under their poisened weapons, while also drawling two daggers, one noticeably poisoned, the other glimmering a bit. He gives a nod to Rugh, stabbing at the back of a acolyte quickly, yelping all the while, "AAEEIII!" Sssari has not noticed that absence of the "High Priest."

A loud grunt echoed in the caves as the orc jumped around the corner. He faced the Priest for a short moment before the acolyth came closer and took the sight.

The two swords in his hand pointed towards the third acolyth. Rugh made a step towards him, then suddenly dodged with high speed and tried to ram the swords into the warm body of the follower.

During the fight he growled to the human "Take da woman and bring her out here, oomie!"

His training was coming in handy as it was in his past.. the past he'd tried to escape for the sake of a special some one... if it does some good it's still worth doing.... he thinks to himself all the while keeping his coal like eyes open and aware for any attackers.. he spots a woman lying on the floor and something by the alter grabs his attention.. should he get closer and risk being found or just wait? he crouches ready to spring*

Sniffs the air and catches a familiar sent and grins. Then heads over to Olive while Rugh'toh and Sssari take care of the other two followers. Gently picks Olive up and thinks to himself. Time to get out of here before things get out of hand. Heads towards the exit.

The blade dipped into the foul flesh of the acoltyh. It was embraced by warm blood which even stuck on the sword when the blade already had left the corpse.

Rugh's gaze wandered over the last acolyth who stood with the back to Sssari. In one move he slashed with his second blade the head of the third acolyth and looked for the Priest who was somewhere near the altar.

For a very short moment the Orc Chief hesitated. Then he turned around, and began to run to the ladder, where Olive was carried to by the human. He grunted to Sssari "Hurry, nub play wit magjiks ib yoo can avoid."

By his last words he already has made some steps away from Sssari, leaving the Priest and three acolyths on the ground behind.

"Hurry, oomie, get her up da ladder" he grunted to the human, ready to help him with Olive.

The rescuers ascended the ladder, Olive in tow, bleeding badly.

One of them lays her on the ground to check her wounds, yet notices her hand clutching a small parchment. She must have grabbed it as she was being moved.

You tell the others and you all gather round it as you roll the parchment open and read:

As you complete the lines, you hear a faint noise from below.

"Pffttt" the sound of a magic portal opening, then silence.

"Naaraaa......," the woman whispers, "saaveee Naaraaa..." then goes silent as she succumbs to her wounds. She appears to need some major medico help.

Finally, fresh air!

"Hurry, fishy, get up da ladder... hurrrrry!" he grumbled.

As the lizard crawled up, Rugh immediatly pulled up the ladder with help of the human. "May da magsy rot in dere!"

Then the three surrounded Olive, loooking down to her. One of them grabbed the parchment and read it loudly.

Rugh rubbed his chin in thoughts, till he suddenly heared a sound from below. The sound of a portal. He grunted to himself and then turned his head to Olive as she whispered.

After a few moments he snorted and then commanded harshly "Yoo two, brrring her to town and let sum healer care fer her! Treat her well, or yoo both beh dead soon! ... Meh need go.. sumwhere else!"

He then made a few steps aside, grabbed into his bag, took a book and opened it to read. In the same moment he finished to read, with a loud thunder another portal opened right next to him. He looked back to Olive and the two "..care fer her!" and then jumped in.

With another loud thunder Rugh apporached at the teleporter in Varshikar. He looked into the darkness. As he could't see anyone he began to run to the desert.

The sand did not stop him - he knew the best paths through the soft sand.
The scorpions did not get him - his smell and sight were sharpened.

Finally, he saw the Dark Crest approaching in the darkness. He ran into the cave and climbed the ladder, making his way quickly to the lake, then seeing the gates of the Orc Cave.

"Open da gate fer da Chief of Dar'Krest" he shouted into darkness.

*sits alone crouched in the shadows as if makng sure all is well watching all bodies in case they be zombies after remaining motions for nearly an hour he creeps towards the exit. as he nears it he hears foots steps and finds cover in a shadow.. as he throws his cloak over himself a fammiliar voice softly whispers through the darkness.*

" Well Kain i see you still have a knack for these things.. but this isn't your handy work is it? too chaotic.. " *the voice comes from a small elven child his eyes are fixed right on the spot where the man had hidden. quietly he waits he was unseen it was obvious this was bait but there was no way he'd been seen.. sensed perhaps but the past told him the child's eyes were not THAT good.*

*Convinced the man will not answer he makes haste wondering to each body to fill a vial from each with what little blood remains.. as he finishes up he walks past the man in the shadows again this time heading right for the exit and speaking as he goes. *" I will get my revenge Kain. just wait. keep waiting there in the dark. like you always have."

* As the child leaves he rises following towards the exit cautiously.. though there was little the child could do to harm him physically he knew far too much about him to take him lightly.* " you seek to become the master this time... do what you will child but even I don't think you Want to Become that awful creature again.. it wasn't suppose to go that direction."

The gates creaked as they were slowly opened. The Chief stepped inside and hurried down to the lower caves.

Out of breath he made the last steps on the ladder and then walked closer to the fire.

He sighed in relief as he saw Nara in the arms of one of her sisters.
