That was ME!:D And you did see the char again. I think I was using Aeridor;)Achae Eanstray wrote:Someone (xxxxxxxxx): Ah, most folks call me "Jess" I figure that should work. sighs I saw the char for two days and received a lot of help, then never saw again. Wishes she knew who it was to thank properly.
Mark Strongarm also helped later with crafts and advise on RPing along with Rumil and Helt Foraker.
((this was the second day ig, the first day I did not save the logs and also was ghosted by a robber LOL))

Believe it or not, Stephen Rothman helped me a lot with my first character (who was a dwarf!) "Alexander Dullblade". I'm sorry he's gone, he really added spice to things!
Later, with "Dusty Bottoms".....I have to admit I self-taught almost everything I knew. Lots of Trial and error, especially with potions. Some thanks goes to Lennier for a Dye trick, and building things like the Workshop in Greenbriar before there was even building 'rules'.
"Kurga Wolfbane" learned a lot of 'orcish' just watching Retlak and Gabon. What a cool language! I'm still sorry she died so quickly, it was fun!
Since making "Dusty", I have tried to help any noob that crosses my path. Some leave, some stay. I remember teaching Taliss, Mark Armstrong, Rumil Togrin, and some others I can't remember.
Just last night, "Chester" helped two at once! An Orc named Boglin (from England) and another dwarf named "Thudgeroon" (from US).
I think it's important to help new people as much as we can. I will even stop what I am doing to help....you never know which will stay and be terrific roleplayers! Thanks to all who try!

Oh man I remember! My first char, airin merrimount, was part of the academy of gobiath that Voldar opened! Man I used to love voldar, is the PO still around?
And omgosh Roze too! Who the heck was the PO of her? I never knew that. she started basically when i did i think but she still helped me like crazy.

Zarah and Mr K were the first people I met - they were actually there in the library when I spawned. And of course there was Vallithessir, Hagen von Rabenfeld, and my beloved Aristeaus.
I mean Quinasa's beloved... yeah.
Because try-as-I-might I could NOT find my sister even though she promised to show me how to use the game!!!

Solalia was my originial guide when I first joined. She taught me the ropes of using the client. Though sometime after Dan joined the knighthood I stopped seeing her online. Does anyone know who played her and if the PO still plays?
Also Larren Hunt helped me get started, someone who I also seemed to have lost track of over the past year or so.
Lastly I have to thank Samantha Meryadeles. There was one point ig where she asked Dan where he came from and at the time I had no idea. Patric was the person who directed me to moonsilver and waited for who knows how long as I read through the discriptions and narrowed it down. If not for him I probably would have never developed as much of his and my other characters background storys as I have.

protector of the forest
tried to get me out of the muds
i fell from the roof of the libary
i`m glad you left me south of Adron
don`t know who was before, and taught me basics
i remember your name,
but i forgot the one of your opponent
took me months to get over it
i never wanted to play again
Sturmläufer- gave me the rolls;
Master Dustin;
blind elf- the first to pay me accordingly, i was so lonely with the armour i bought from the coins;
Retlak-showed me it is sometimes forced RP if you don`t let youself get "forced";
Cawdor-what i am not;
Stephen-small words make a war;
the elf i met on Tol Vanima;

IMO; if only one PO cries half as many tears of relief as i`ve
this game is worth the effort
