Good/bad days
Buried deep inside the wiki, one can read that there seems to be some kind of new feature, "good and bad days".
http://illarion.org/community/wiki/index.php/Attributes
One can conclude that the attributes get changed during such days. My questions:
a) What is this all about? What is this ought to be?
b) What is the benefit of this?
c) Why don't you announce such a change?
d) How can I find out ingame wether my char has a good or a bad day?
e) What does it depend on? Random? Weather?
f) Which attributes are affected when, how, for how long, why,...?
g) When do we get meters for the desire to urinate and entertainment desire?
h) Wasn't there, like, nothing more important to do...?

It is a good idea... and I doubt the variations are major ones... probably a +1 to +2 here and there or similar negative modifiers.
And I am against being able to know if you are having a good or bad day, otherwse people will just relog until they get a good day to get the bonuses. Since Illarion has many power gamers already, no need to have things to encourage them.
Although, having an appearance which would make characters more unique and less clonish would have been put higher on my list than having a good/bad day. Like being able to choose between six different avatars, or be able to change hair and clothing colour... I doubt this would be very difficult to do, especially if you use predefined colours that is suitable for each races... so you wont see humans with purple hair, or dwarves with pink hair.

why is "g)" not valid?
maybe, you touched something interesting there.
in that game, that has pee-bars, they have as well a social bar.
introduce that, and only, who got good "social" can craft or fight excellently....
voilá!: no more reason, to complain about too little RP...
edit:
Paldomire,
are you going to paint the necessary graphics?

just found the script...
well, perhaps some things:
d) no indication besides your own feeling if some things just work better
e) completely random for each day.
f) all attributes for one day. There are some calculations, but it seems to me that the change is either +1 or -1. *shrugs*
h) well...only 11 lines of code. Just a breather between hard work, I suppose.

Well, now I worked out why I could cast a spell X days ago, and not after that *sighs*.
I don't really lyke this idea.. at all.
People don't just get 'good days' for random, they do it because they're in a good mood ect... If you want to RP your character as whistling and doing things right, because he just found 999 silvers on the floor, do so...
Plus this will TOTALLY ruin stuff like fighting competitions, or a good calculation of how skilled you're becoming at a craft...
Is it WORTH it?

I must say that I'm not so sure about this.Hadrian_Abela wrote:Plus this will TOTALLY ruin stuff like fighting competitions, or a good calculation of how skilled you're becoming at a craft...
It might be good in the sense that there is more randomness, thus someone X who can definitely beat someone Y today, perhaps Y could have a small chance another day.
- Its random ( not pedending on anything )
- It took me less the one minute
- The changes are impressive small (a good fighter, stays a good one and a bad fighter stays bad. Its comparable to a skillchange of 2 or 3 points )
- It puts some more randomness into the game
- It is worth it
- Its not worth to discuss about it
- it got not annouced to avoid such a topic and because the effect is nearly unnoticable. Beside of the crafting system where you can get one item more or less in case you are exactly at the border before or after you learned a item
