Hey I started a while ago and got bored, then TRIED to start again but it said my character couldnt be found although it is on the website and it says its playable. And if anyone knows how I can start out my mage and maybe help me with runes and junk my character name is Haans Clarke.

Hello, welcome back.
First of all, for your account not working, I've truly got no clue. I'd need more information, and I'm sure the staff members will ask for your account name, and character name.
Anyhow, as for the magic part, it's all IG it happens. You can't ask on the forum, OOC, 'can someone give me runes and junk?'. Because it's not YOU who's getting runes, your character obviously. But that's not what I meant.
If you read about the RPG and Guilds forum, you'd know that for your character to become an apprentice of a teacher, and teachers can only have three apprentices. And currently, as far as I know, all teachers already have their three pupils.
But in brief, you should just have your character discretely go around asking about.
Example of NOT discrete:
"Hey I want to learn magic, can you tell me how please?"
Example of discrete:
#me slides along the stool, pressing his right arm onto the counter, he offers a brief, greeting nod to the woman.
"Greetings ma'am, how do you do?"
<conversation here, for a few minutes, then sneakily insert the discussion of magic to learn more of it>
"Aah, I see.. That's quite interesting. Also, I've heard of a certain group of folks who could control magic? Is that true?"
Anyhow, have a good day, time to go to college

Your character Haans Clarke should work. Please retry to log in, maybe you just mispelled the name or the server was offline for a minute.
