A stormy arrival

Wu'derek's father knew something had to be done or the their Norodaj village would be lost so he asked Wu to take the last remaining boat that they had not used for fire wood to take it to the nearby dwarven port and see if they could supply rations or shelter. Once he had arrived outside the dwarven city they had closed their gates and would not answer his calls. Just when he thought all hope had been lost he saw a cargo ship docked in the habor at a small Lizardmen fishing town. He quickly reached the town just in time to figure out the destination of the cargo ship, Gobaith , the captain told him that Gobaith was having a fair fall season and after much explaining and begging the captain allowed him on the ship. On the second day at sea an enormous storm struck the ship and it was capsized. When he woke he was stark naked on a piece of drift wood his head was groggy and begins to cough up water. When he finally manages to open his eyes and look up he sees land. He tries to paddle but it is useless luckily for him the tide is rolling in and he is pulled ashore. Somehow he drags himself up the shore and collaspes asleep. When he wakes he looks around and realizes he is completely lost. He quickly stands and starts to wander an hour later he finds a path and begins to follow it, to Trolls Bane stark naked with only a piece of drift board to cover him. What will he do how will he get back? A barbarian in a civilzed world. Stares at the city for a long time not sure what to do but he needed clothes.

Achae walks to the gate not paying very much attention where she was going when hearing someone say loudly "Get out of the way". She turns the corner to the gatehouse in time to see that someone was shoved from the door then stops suddenly as she gets closer with eyes widened. He was wearing nothing and had a board held in front of him. Blushing noticeably while looking at the wall in front of her instead of the man "Are you....I mean... you aren't hurt are you? Do you need any food?" Getting a negative reply in an accent sometimes hard to understand she glances briefly at him again then holding out her hand tellling him to stay there she walks toward her depot to find spare clothes.

Looks at the woman with fearful eyes he hesitates to speak and doesnt really understand why the man is so angry with him as he is a new arrival and obviously in an awkward state at the moment. He tries to hold the piece of drift wood in front of himself but sometimes he forgets in all the commotion and reveals himself accidently. He is in a strange place with strange people and is exhausted from the long journey. Finally the man leaves and he is left with the kind easy to look at woman. She talks sweetly to him and makes him feel welcome in this chaotic environment he has so unknowning walked into, She offers him food to fill his belly and a warm smile with a few giggles. As one of the better educated Barbarians in his tribe his common is sufficient to communicate with the woman. Achae walks out of the gatehouse and he follows suit not wanting the vicious man to come back. She gives him clothes to put on his back and patient conversation as his common is exactly easy listening. He learns of her Ama' Shoon heritage and they find common ground to talk about. She aslo educates him on some of the customs of Gobaith and he does his best to abide by her sayings. He notices she giggles a lot and it makes him laugh. He is a barbarian still in a strange place but atleast there is friendly people to talk too.
