Loading the Game

Post by Crimson Butterfly »

So, after finally getting it to install and fixing the error that said the game couldn't find the selected window size, I was pretty thrilled to finally be able to play.

It launches and gives me a pure black screen.

Ten minutes I wait. Nothing. My computer won't respond, I can't close it, it's completely frozen. The screen stays black. I figured it was just a glitch, restarted my computer, and tried again.

Same exact thing.

I've tried seven times between last night and today and the screen is always black, never loads, and always makes me restart my computer since I can't even close it.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I turned everything to be the lowest resolution possible and the worst graphic quality just to try to make it work.

Am I simply unable to play the game, or is there a way to fix it?

Thank you in advance ^^

The server might've been down. Did ANYTHING appear? Like... health bars but with no health in them etc.?

Nope, nothing at all appeared. It was just a blank, black, void screen with nothing. My mouse cursor was an hourglass at first then turned to the usual pointer, and nothing loaded.

Computer: Cumetrix

AuthenticAMD
AMD Duron Processor
112.0MB RAM

That's what the system in the Control Panel says. I can't find the graphikcard -_-;; This is a pretty old computer, but I've managed to get other games, such as Ragnarok Online and Flyff to work on it, if that says anything.

When I put it in full screen, it's 100% black.

When I have it off full screen, the only thing shown is the title bar.

Start > Run

"dxdiag"

Wait for it to load, then click the "Display" tab, it'll tell you all about your graphics card..

Hmm...I guess I'm just not going to be able to play this game after all ._. That's a shame, too, since I was looking forward to doing some actual role playing in a MMORPG.

Guess I'll be sticking with text-based x3

You computer ( RAM and Graphic Card ) is just to old to handle the client.

A decent upgrade wouldn't cost too much and helps alot i think.
