I hereby resign from my post as the Governor of Trolls Bane. I will hand the town to a man with capable hands. Lance Dragonwill is his name and he has expressed interest and complete leadership and activity which I lack. He has sent me many prior doves on how to run this town which I have ignored. I read through them earlier today and I found out that he is the true Governor of this town.

I wish to thank the govenor in this generous act, though it is a bit random and spontaneous. I will post a plan of my military activities as well as punishments and assign a new Captain of the Guard.

I fear Mister Valentine is not able to make someone other Governeur after he resigned..

Since you resigned we have to organize a new vote. I am sorry, but Mister Dragonwills appointment is not possible without an election and it is not legal to simply make him governeur on your wish.

I ask every citizen of Trollsbane interested in becomming Governeur to write down his or her candidation.

Constantin Valentin. I hereby release you from all dutys of government and all possible desicions over town. As the magistrate of Trollsbane i have to watch over the law and the order in this town. So there will be a new vote for governeur, and not a governeur announced by you. Our town doesnt work like that. You are an elected spokeman for the peoples of this town. And it is the peoples desicion who will govern after you, and not your desicion.

Again, every candidate write down his name and his plans for the town please.

These are not new laws, it was said at the last election that you would have to hold a new election after four months. It seems logical that an election should choose the new leader.

Constantine Valentine. It was your duty as governeur to organize new votes for a Governeur once you retired or something other happened. You failed at that duty and behaved against the towns wish when you simply announced a new governeur yourself, ignoring the citizens opinion in this matter.
That was wrong and so I stopped it and, for you, announced a new vote and will organize it.

Also Mister Lance Dragonwill is member of an outsider force. A few days ago you forbid Dantagon Marescot to became captain of guard because he is member of an outsider force. And now you want to make such a man governeur? You act against your own words. That and the other facts are arbitrariness and can't be tolerated.

So we will have a new vote with new candidates and fair chances for everyone who is a citizen of Trollsbane. Since we follow law and order in this town, and since our leaders are elected, and not announced by a single man.

Considering that a government of trollsbane is in fact uses a governor as an elected offical to represent and meet the demands of it's citizenship. Then by the very nature of the government a former leader passing down his leadership role to another is impossible. Perhaps if Trollsbane were ruled by a king or soveriegn then the simple act of naming another leader would be more valid, however that isn't the case with trollsbane. The moment the governor steps down from his position he would lose the power to place another offical into any position. thus is the way of a democratic system of rule.

Why do not you just organize guilds to care for each buildings? So far nothing was done by Troll's Bane's governament since that one bunch, Lyrazinion or whatever it was.

These people would make up the government and make decisions for each of their buildings. Who would be in these? Just divide up the citizenry into each category, and they can devote their votes to happenings in their "guild".

Brobert Beothach shall be jailed by the towns guard for the time of three days for disturbing the towns election with crazy nonsense and for trying to sabotage the new vote.

Also the candidates have time until the 20. of Chos ((monday, 12th february)) to write down their candidations. After that the vote and election will be prepared. The candidates will have time to meet with the citizens and to advertise for themself as new governeur. It is yet unsure how long the preparations for the final election will take, but it shall be soon announced.

The new vote shall also be used to clean up the towns citizenlist. For the time of election peoples who are not yet citizens are still allowed to join the town. Every citizen who won't give a vote in the election will be removed from the citizenlist. Those who wish to become citizens shall speak to me or the current captain of the guard, siltaris. Since Mister Valentine resigned and failed at his duty to organize the election he has not anymore the right to take or give citizenships. Shall he still do it and change the list he may be punished for that.

Be carefull gentlemen and ladys. The town allows itself to punish anyone who joins the town just for having their own candidate voted, without carring really for the towns benefit.

Also we won't allow dual citizenships. Anyone who is already member of an other town is not allowed to become citizen.

For the time of vote myself as Magistrate and Siltaris as current captain of town shall lead the town together until a governeur is elected. Once the governeur is elected he will decide over a new Magistrate aswell as a new captain of guard. But i hope he will concider the citizens wishes and opinions in those matters.
