"Play" Button Grayed Out

Hello, I'm new to Illarion. I downloaded Java 1.5 and then Illarion itself. However, when I open the client, the "play" button is grayed out, and pressing "enter" doesn't work. If anyone knows what might be wrong, I'd really appreciate some help.

EDIT: Yes, the website does say that the server is online.

Enter your char name and password in there, and it should be all fine.

(Just checking, you likely did, but just checking, don't stab me with a french fry.)

Also, the server isn't online, it crashed, the webbie does say that, but it doesn't work with crashes or such, only when it was taken offline by a gm or such, not by crash.(Oh wait, it is now, but anyway, it's not always, check the server status thread. )

Your password must be a certain length or the play button will stay greyed. At least 5 characters I think

@Nar: They won't accept a password below 5 characters anyway so that can't be the problem.

Therefore I think you need to screw around with the options, as Adrian suggested; assuming you've actually entered your character name and password.

Thanks for the help, everyone. My password was three letters long, and they did accept it when I created my account. I changed it and logged on successfully.
