I can't play the game

I try downloading the game 2 ways plus I had java run time downloaded,
and the "Thawte Consulting" never pop up, I'm using windows xp.

Did anybody had this problem?

If you don't tell us what exactly you did, we can't help you.

You have to install Java Runtime.

And then you can hit the play button on the homepage. The client will download then.

I downloaded java run time enviroment then I click play on the homepage and it shows this

the java run won't work at all, sould I download java run time again and choose custom instead of typical?

and I clicked save before it just comes up a blank file.

Open it, when you are prompted to choose to either Save or Open it.

I saved it and try to open it Now it shows this

Windows cannot open this file:

File: illarion_client.jnlp

to open this file windows need to know what program created it. windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs on you computer.

What you want to do?

0 use the web service to find the appropriate program.(Don't work)

0 select program from list.

when I click the first choice nothing happen, and the second choice just moves it.

You need the java runtime engine (with webstart) to start it. If you don't has this, you can't open it. If you have it, you can open it. Simple thing.
