feeling a bit...

Alright i for one am sick and tired of being treated like trash from a certain Gm. if you dont want to hear bitching then i sugest you close this thread right now because thats all this post is.

For one, i have been playing this game for 3 years, i am no new guy to this game. Lately i have had a few issures with one of the Gm's methods of dealing with things and i think they should be taken public so if anyone else feels the same they should be able to express it. I have witness this Gm's hatefullness, or what i precieved as hatefulness, on 2 of my chars. One of which most have no idea who it is. My char that i wish to be unnamed unless it is necessary information was IG asking for help with keys for the orcish cave. The other i recieved by Pm for posting a thread that is basically a continum of an old clan (the Shadow Horde) which for a good wile has been dismantled. But when i try to repost this new thread which is ment to get the players of orcs back into this game i get a message that my post has been deleted and i need to read the rules, which i did. In the rules it states that i must have 4 chars from different accounts to join before i can post. My problem is i dont know the active orcs and with my busey Rl schedual (football and school) i dont have time to sit in the game and hope i can find some orcs that want to join my clan so i can post.

Heres the thing when i sent him the message that i dont have time for that he basically said tough shit. I have been a player for 3 years and i am well capable of running a clan because i ran one of the greatest ones in the Games history. I heard Gm's say that the orcs were the best RPers at the time when i was the Chief, thats deffinatly got to count for something.

The thing is, i dont care that i didnt get to post because everyone has to follow the same rules for that thread and i am alright with that. What gets me is the rudeness in which i am told. Should i have only heard this by Pm i would not have writen this post but since i felt the same rudeness IG on a different char i really think it should be brought to everyones attention like i already stated.

I really dont wish to name the GM i only want him/her to realize that someone the things they are saying are comming across as offensive at least to one player that is no "newb" to this game

Should anyone have had any problems like this please post below. And should names be needed i will supply them but only if they are absloutly needed

You stated an opinion saying that Keikan was a rude GM and needs to be kinder. I am saying that he is BLUNT, and you are crying because your forum topic got deleted. It's spilt milk, gather some players, rebuild the clan.

Now, let's just assume you AREN'T crying over this and he infact offended you with "Please respect the rules listed here." My counterpoint is that you need to get a tissue and grow up.

It's called A debate. You state one thing that isn't true, I counteract with that I think. Simple enough.

and thats why so many agree with me and so far none with you? like i said in my post its not the PM's that got me they mearly put me over the top...what got me was his rudeness while i was IG and asked him a question...all clearly stated in my post above...as i said before also everyone heard you and your words are clearly no longer needed thank you for your time posting and your opinions

Edit- i never once said the GM's name in any of my posts untill you pointed it out...i simply pointed out that i had/have a problem with on Gm and i wanted to hear if anyone else had problems with any of them eather

No, Keikan does do things rudely, but that is simply him. He doesn't mean to do it, I mean, he deleted my rumor which was infact in many ways a rumor, (no specific names or details), because he has taken it upon himself that the rumor thread is poorly done. The problem is he doesn't realize what is wrong with it. Promoting your character through vague ways is an ideal rumor. Having a conversation between characters in a rumor is not. He does not see this and since he is the only active GM enforcing this sort of thing, (guild included), he can successfully run a monopoly on what he deems roleplay fit. And no, this won't change because A) no gm wants to challenge it, and B) Martin does not want to add anymore Gms because he feels GMs are active and useful for 1 month and then slink away into dark corners.

Anyways, I see your problem and I feel strongly that guilds don't need to be regulated in the way Keikan is doing. (Again he is hitting a place that has a problem but he is doing it the wrong way, in my eyes). Yes, a lot of guilds should be deleted and taken out of the guild forum, however only ones that are clearly lacking roleplay logic behind them. Those, such as the Gabons, that hold a roleplay structure and ranking system should remain so people can find out about such a guild and thereby join the guild by it being promoted in the guild forum. It is silly logic to say one must get at least 5 characters, (including leader), to be in a guild when someone cannot promote their guild on the forums, only through ingame action, many times it is difficult to find people who will sit down and listen to you recruit them for 45 minutes ish.

But again, Keikan, (i strongly doubt he has done it on purpose), has gained a monopoly through his use of GM powers on these forums. He can determine what is allowed and what isn't and will not listen to anyone else because he has no one to answer too. Thus we are stuck with him determining what guilds are allowed and what rumors are allowed.

If you don't have enough time to search out players, how do you have time to lead a guild? That seems strange. All projects take initial investment, whether that be time, money, energy, opinions ect you need that investment to start your project. No 1 man guilds are to keep the guild board free of clutter, I think thats quite acceptable reasoning. You can also contact the players of interested chars (if there are any) out of game quickly and effectively by a multitude of ways, since clearly your object was that they (re)discover the guild through out of game means anyhow.

if he doesnt enjoy his work then why does he stay in the position? its not my fault that he chose to be a Gm but since he is i do think he should have a little more respect to the players. Its not like anyone is making him stay and like you said its not for money which makes him a volunteer, normally, at least where i come from, volunteer's enjoy their work enough to not be a total ass when someone asks a question

Who says he hates his job? He probably likes his job and he is blunt because of his personallity. Aeghol said he DOES NOT GET PAID. A waitress will tolerate your bullshit about a fly being in your soup because she gets paid. A GM, who works for pleasure, doesn't have to.

Indeed, but you said Keikan was rude. This isn't true. I disagree. So be it. I have the privilage to post this in your thread saying that you're a jackass and have a mental protection of a three year old.

I've been playing this game for one and have been banned once. You do not have any more powers and rights then I do. Get over that aswell.

Personally, this experience has made me hate the whole game.
