Trolls Banian School of Combat

Post by Garett Gwenour »

The School of Combat for Trolls Bane's citizens is hereby open. If you are a citizen of town, (and a citizen of Gobiath or apart of a town that has no hostile actions too Trolls Bane), you may join this school and be taught the way of combat. We teach you any of the main forms of combat, each teacher is specialized and the price of each teacher varies by the skill and knowledge the teacher has. Each time you pay you get 3 full rounds of combat. The school is located at the fighting Arena and is open ((saturdays 16 gmt - 20 gmt)), those are the times when we are there.
There are two types of training, with given armor you may keep, (chain shirt, chain helm, and weapon of your choice), or with your own armor, this is less coins. Non citizens of Trolls Bane may be apart of this school, but it is automatically 35 copper coins more to them to be apart of this.

Teachers:
Arameh-Price: 85 copper coins; 250 copper coins Teaches: Blades, Staff Work and Parrying

Taylor-Price: 70 copper coins; 230 copper coins Teaches: Blades and Parrying

Stephen Rothman-Price: 90 copper coins; 275 copper coins Teaches: Blades, Staff Work, Parrying, Dodging and Daggers

All coins earned go to the town of Trolls Bane.

Hmmm...this is a wonderful idea. I can see where simple craftsmen and peasants could really use a 'safe' way to train such as this.

I am a non-citizen, yet friendly to Trollsbane, and would consider this service, however I use the bow. Will you be able to provide a teacher for that?

Excellent!

Please determine a price and who the teacher will be, and I shall meet you there. Will arrows be provided, or not? Also, where is this 'arena'?
Thank you.

Jeremey of Kumdah,

Stephen wrote that "each teacher is specialized and the price of each teacher varies by the skill and knowledge the teacher has." Stephen has the most skill and knowledge, so his price is naturally higher. Common sense and strength of mind can get you as far as the strength in your arm. Think on that.
If you want the best, you simply must pay more for it.

If you wish to be taught, the best way to do so is to send a letter to the individual teacher. And arrange a time to meet him.
