Make skills like Alchemy and Tailoring easier to learn.  Alchemy is practiced by no one because firstly it is time consuming to do, (gather the herbs/plants, get buckets of water, get the proper bottles then run from well to wine barrel to make whatever), and it is very difficult to gain any skill from it.  I made 16 bottles of Mead last night and did not get to see the skill yet; considering how much work it is to get the apples, buckets of water, empy grey bottles and run from the well to wine barrel, I think I should have gotten at least one level on it.  And the same can be said exactly for Tailoring; I have made about 60+ leather shoes and still not even the skill.  It is far to difficult to gain any levels in it and that is why there are few to none tailors, even when there is a good market for leather goods.  
I wish to see these two skills made easier so people use these skills and don't instead just become another carpenter.
Give more thread for the sibanic + wooden plant with nail trick. 1 thread per sibanic is too little in my opinion. thread is already a rampantly needed quantity, carpenters need it and tailors need it so why not let more be gotten easier? As it is, going to the undead temple and taking their entrails and turning that into thread is the way most people do it because gathering 5 sibanic per thread is too much of a hassle. Maybe 3 thread per 5 sibanic or 1 thread per 2 sibanic would do much better.
Make some items stackable; Beer mugs, molotov cocktails, ink bottles.

No, I completely disagree with making tailoring and alchemy easier. Why should I have to slave hours upon hours making literally hundreds of beers and potions to gain the skill I have in alchemy, and then you come along, complain and get an easy ride. Its just not fair at all to people who already have worked for it. If it is going to be made easier it is only fair that people who have already worked on it see a comparable increase in their skills.
The fact it is not practiced by many people is neither here nor there, if people RP an alchemist or a druid, they will practice alchemy, likewise with tailoring. The fact no-one practices it is due to the fact that there are few characters fitting these qualities, not that it is hard to do.
Afterall, goldsmithing is just as, if not more, difficult to do and learn, and yet I have met plenty of goldsmiths in my time.
I can assure you, using the sibanac and nail board method I can easily make 100 thread in 15 minutes. (Assuming the season is right) So I don't really see any need for change here. Initially it seems unfair, but its actually very manageable.

Mmhh, making skills easier is difficult to balance as Nalzaxx said. I never tried to get really better in skills like Tailoring ("Schneiderei"), Farming ("Ackerbau") or Alchemy (is this "Kräuerkunde"/Herbology?), so I don't know how fast you make progresses there. 
But I get the skilled really fast because Midrusio is such an intelligent dude

If it's not winter, you get much Sibanac in a short time, so no need for decreasing the 5-to-1-relation.
Another suggestion:
You should be able to put water etc. into "empty bottles" and "great empty bottles", not just "grey bottles". And I want to empty a bucket with colour in it...

I thought I just typed there was none. SURE there are some taylors, but they can play once a month maybe, im talking of active ones. Come on guys, learn tayloring, if there is only one good taylor then he becomes rich as hell, only Arameh would pay over 2000 coppers of leggins, and thats one character.

I dont care bout tailoring, but if the gms make alchemy easier, it was just damn unfair. Do you know how hard it is to gain your magic skills? Not many people do that, because of the time you need. If the gms make it easy to gain the alchemy, the only thing what makes druids speacial, would be away. That would be very very unfair. I'd like it, if the alchemy was even harder. Maybe there should be a own skill for Brewing or something, wich is easier to get. But please DON'T make alchemy easy!  
			
			
									
						
										
						Yes, but they can't become, because they don't have the needed patience. It needs about three months or longer of good rp, to get the first rune or the ancientbook. If you look, you'll see, that there are only about 50 mages or a bit more, that are able to use the magic. The same thing should count for druidism, I think, at the moment, it's even too easy to become a druid.Irania wrote:Are you kidding???? I don't say what's my magic chara, but i can tell, that I will be tought by the guy I asked, he just has to make something first.
Druidry relates to nature magic, NOT potion making.
I think the fact that in the past potion making was labelled as druidism in the game is what has confused a number of people.
Afterall, most good mages are also good alchemists. And if alchemy is moved to druidism they can't be any longer can they. Plus you have the fact that one day a master alchemist will no longer be able to make a food potion.
