Construction

Post by Trolls Bane »

A large parchment is attached to Eliza's shop wall, many people crowd around and many a craftsman rubs his hands together imagining the possibilites... It is written in fine crimson ink, a citizen of Trolls Bane may recognize quickly as that of the Governor...

At long last the days have come for construction of Trolls Bane's walls to be expanded, rebuilt in a fashion far more longer and far more powerful than the past. The land within the walls will be grown by quite a bit, new walk ways will be found within the walls for defenders and overall the city will be far better defensively and so no longer should we fear any army from breaching our glorious walls.

The city of Trolls Bane needs the following Materials to complete this construction:
* 100 silvercoins (have all needed )
* 300 brickstones (current have 150 )
* 4000 sand ( currently have 2100 )
* 2000 boards ( currently have 830 )
* 400 nails ( have all needed )

We will buy all the above listed from citizens of Trolls Bane. That means craftstman whom cannot find a buyer, sand miners, blacksmiths whom cannot make armour but can make nails ((pins)) can now find a buyer.
Donations are of course accepted if you wish to do so.

Also good news, the construction team has agreed to also build houses within Trolls Bane's outlying territories.

Happy to bring you some good news,
Stephen Rothman
Governor of Trolls Bane

If you don't mind me asking, will these houses be included in the construction? or are they planned for the future?

and if they are to be made now, who will they belong to?

They are planned for after this current construction of the town walls. It will take some time for the matters to all be gathered.

The houses will be built by the Government of Trolls Bane and will then belong to the government and be rented out to citizens of Trolls bane.

Governor Stephen,

I have supplied you with a number of boards and have 150 awaiting you to collect them, I'm picking up the pace on making them. Mayhaps there shall be more by the time you collect them.

How should we go about getting bricks? Also what kind of wood boards do we need or does it not matter? Any craftsman need a heavy lifter or someone just to fend off wolves seek me, I do this no fee.

Governer Stephen,

I'd like to request, what effect on the city's need for materials the recent disaster, that we faced this night, will have, and if the planned expansion is thus going to be delayed.

Sincerely,

Gryphius.

The expansion, as I wrote on another parchment, will be delayed til the internal parts of Trolls Bane are fixed. However we are till collecting the materials for the walls. We are our a proud people and a storm will not destroy our hopes and dreams.

The amount collected of materials has increased.

Tomorrow I will make several trips to the desert to get some sand. If any citizen of Trolls bane wishes to join me I will be found at the shop. I will supply shovels and buckets of water.

I ve spoken with the constructors, the amount of bricks needed has been lessened but the need for other materials is increased. I will be going to get sand often today, if anyone wants to join me feel free.

Indeed, sand is hard work. I have been digging in the hot sand as well. I hope to see you there.

A generous donation from the Knighthood of Trolls Bane increased the log count as well as sand count.

As you can see much of the construction has begun work. You may find it familiar of the old layout of the town. Everything done so far is to help everyone.
