Sadly, the server crashed now, anyway, it was just over.

How did you like/hated the quest?

Give feedback! :)

god, that was fun.
what i enjoyed the most about it was you incorporated the players actions to the roleplay. Such as when Meriel was trying to boil the water, you did roleplay the water as boiling a little bit. Or Samantha summoning the earthwalls, you played definately well. I had a great amount of fun.

It seemed to be great, hard work for GMs I think, changing each squares into water and all. By the way, I may have looked like a noob, I logged in right in it, sorry :P .

It was really fun. Everyone played well, even if they played complet idiots who ran out by lightning and storm :P.

It was fun saving town with magic. And i hoped the gm liked the possibility to use my portal to travel through town, rofl. I saw many times how the portal got used by some invisible thing ;)

Great quest, great fun =)

Fun, but I found that some people reacted rather poorly. People just ran arond, stayed in the first floor and asked why they should go to the second, all sorts of similar reactions. There were those who played it very well, the fellow with the hurt leg and what not. Alot of people just ran hither and tither and pretended like it wasn't a huge storm that flooded the town, aside from that it was great fun, and whoever sent out the mass messages was amazing.

well duh, who wants to be the guy who says " a storm! I"m a girl/child/non-fighter, I must run to the highest floor and sit there for the next 20 minutes while others get to see a flooding town and stuff."

I was one of those lame rp'ers that ran around but I at least tried to amke some rp reasons.

I was a person who sat there for 20 minutes, and I enjoyed it quite thouroughly. I understand running around trying to find a safe building, although I assume that if it is heavily raining and you've lived in trollsbane for any legnth of time you realize that, aside from the inn, the library is the only thing with an indoor 2nd story. The thing I didn't understand was people on the bottom floor saying "Why should we go to the second floor that doesn't make any sense"

A person with some sense would:
A. Go to the second floor because the streets are flooded with atleast a foot of water
B. Go to the second floor because they hear bursting walls, a sign that more water is on the way
C. Stand around on the first floor and wait for a demon who might possibly give them rare items.

Running around in chaos is fine, hitting your head is fine, but casually asking "Well I don't really see the point in avoiding this massive flood that could theoretically kill me" that is not fine.

I'm not a great roleplayer, my characters don't have depth and often react unrealistically or unpredicatbly, but asking such things is just nonsense.

I just thought they may have just put some automated weather system in, so it was good when it rained. Never expected a flood. :( Oh well.

Haha :) It was more a spontaneous idea when I was making weather broadcasts. Then I started to make the storm, then the wind (I let you guys fly), and then Nitram and me did the flood. :D

It was huge fun making the players fly. :P

-------------

Although i intended to go to bed, i just couldn't unglue myself from it, when it started to become the big show. I was highly impressed by its unpredictable process and the abundance of details - That was a technical Masterpiece. Let's hope, there will be more gems like this in the future.

On the bottom line, you should pick on Greenbriar next - the Halflings have it far too easy.

GMs are not responsible for quests anymore. They can do quests, sure, but everyone is invited to do events. For more informations see here:

Or contact any developer / GM / martin's little helper ;-) if you have a nice idea you want to realize.
