Irania lifts her head from her book, hearing the sound of a flute from outside. Getting up from her seat, Irania peers outside and sees no one which sets her to move outside of the building with less fear.
"Hello Irania" The voice has a tinge of familiarity to it.
"You." She replies in surprise. "Jacob Kent."
The conversation continues until Jacob attempts to leave.
"Wait!" Irania shouts loudly, setting off the ache in her head painfully. "Don't go!" I know I can remember. Jacob moves back to his place before her where the conversation once more continues despite her own, and most likely his as well, urge to leave him standing there.
~later~
After somehow ending up laying beside him, Irania moves his arm from her waist and stands, looking down at him curiously. I shouldn't be so quick to believe this man...he may or may not be telling the truth. Still something about him is familiar. Stepping away from the sleeping Jacob, Irania walks to the depot by the Farms Union building and hangs her head over it, looking for nothing yet poking through it in any case. Stupid woman, he is lying to you! Probably just another man trying to get what he is tired of receiving from his hand! Or was he? This is getting out of hand. I grow tired of these games.
Irania shuts the depot and returns the Jacob, who still sleeps soundly, and stares for a few more moments.
"You are confusing to me." She speaks aloud as though he is listening through his sleep. It's not like I asked him to show up here... Irania thinks to herself before removes a parchment from her sack. It's not like he expected to find me here either though. Or did he? Brushing aside her thoughts, Irania begins to write.
Irania looks over her short letter to scan for any missed thoughts and places it beside Jacob on the ground. It seemed he was the only one who could help aside from perhaps her brother, who she had not gotten the chance to speak with yet. Hopefully the man would not speak to her as he had the last time. In any case it was going to be over soon.
Memory oh memory, where for art thou, memory?

Aristeaus saw Irania run from him and cursed silently.
Why diddnt she come to him sooner.
The mans hand clenches slowly and his eyes harden as he looks to the streets about it. His usual smile clearly gone, replaced by a deep scowl.
This was not a game..
People came and went, offering menial words and passing acknowledgments. But the mans mind was else where, his thoughts to the lady whom had just came to him, his sister.
Perhaps he had over reacted, but it wasnt everyday you were told this type of news.
Kneeling down against the wall Aris sighs, reaching up and running a hand through his fair hair, his eyes downcast.
He would have to find her.............

He sat in the square in Varshikar deep in thought.
He grew more and more concerned for his friend the more he thought of her situation. She was distressed and in pain. He needed to help her.
He needed to help because she was one of his people. This was his first such test since becoming leader of Varshikar. He felt people would be watching to see how he handled this. To see if he could look after his own.
But mostly he needed to help a friend in need.
He would have to find her and see if it could help. She had said she had felt a little better when he had tried to use his magic to heal her headache. He had tried more for the practice than out of hope of it working but, if it did indeed ease the pain a little, it was worth trying again. Maybe he should try to see the mana pattern around her. He might be able to spot something if, as he suspected, something had been done to alter her memory.
