Ghorn, whom stands beside you ? Tialdin ? Tirana ? They are around perhaps once a year. It is you whom draws a civil war because you want the throne. Listen to the voice of the dwarves whom matter, the active ones, they want Durgin and not you. It is you who has brought blood to your race now, not Durgin. Through your greed and lies.

Okay. Ya come into tha town, right after tha old king, who founded tha town. King Tialdin, made me tha new king. Ya com' now to me king, together with a surfacer, an' ya threaten me that i will die if I don't giv' tha crown to Durgin. Ya com' with two citizens of Silverbrand, an' a lot of dwarves who ar' since one or two weeks on tha isle. Ya don'T want to leave, ya disturbed tha ceremony an' tha festival, an' threaten me with death. An' Durgin sat down on tha throne, against mine an' Tialdins will.

An' still ya say it is MY fault that it came to a fight?

Ya ar'c razy, lass.

Since there be two so called kings...i say thar be a true Vote. No battles no war jus' a vote ter see who is truly the rightful king. If this cannot happen then maby the time for a king is over, councles of many dwarves that will all vote on the good of the dwarves. Elders such as Ghorn and Durgin workin togetha' to show true brother ship. Over throwing a King is not hard work, over throwing a councle of many dwarves is much harder, more streangth than jus' one dwarf. Many will shoot this here down because they say to much of a change, well some times change is fer better and i think this 'ere change will make the whole dwarven race much stronger and more united.

oh an' i jus thought i would let ya know, i was there for the founding on The knights of kallahorn, i have been arround for a long time. Me not joinin' silverbrand is caused by the lack of Knolage of it.

Just actual citizens would be allowed to vote, lad. I don't think Durgin who just has the support of one citizen may win this.

What is this? Elders? Is this a joke? Votes?

I have never ever heard of a dwarven form of vote for elders in my entire life.

Dwarves have a long history of civilization being led by Kings, what you propose is radical. And to Stephen the fraud, King Tialdin is in Silverbrand most days.

Ghorn, you said i follow moshran? If you want the truth i didnt even know who was Moshran before Mirjilah teach me not long ago, stop your pathetics lies. And personally, i think Ghorn aint a good king at all, strangely, since a while everything is bad of silverbrand. Lot of peoples try and want to get Ghorn out of the way, didnt you see it? There must be a reason. Maybe because you nearly caused a war with the orcs, claimed a throne and called Durin as traitor. I dont know what Durin did, but even him would have being a better king than you. Silverbrand dont need a king that insult, treathen and menace peoples for fun, that only want power for his own benefits and who lies everydays. Belgram you say is not a citizent of silverbrand? He did more than you for that city, he bought arrows with all his coppers to train the dwarfes, i dont even know if you ever did anything else than menacing for the city. I support Durgin, as he much better tempered and wise to be king, not because an old king who is here once a year say it. And Ghorn, until you insult me again and call me whathever yuo want again, its useless its not the topic.

Well, it seems that this battle over Silverbrand still goes on. My opinion still stands. That all in power who were not voted, should give up positions of power and allow the citizens to pick their ruler, or in the extreme, which I think is needed, is to consult Irmorom. Only he it seems can settle our dispute. I pray to him now that he will send us a sign on what to do in his name.

I ask all other dwarves to join me in asking Irmorom for his guidance, and that any Priests of Irmorom help us in this.

To tha last I just want to add how dissapointed I am by them. Durgin, Belgram, an' others. I liked ya lads. I trusted ya an' thought ya ar' friends. for everyone of ya I would hav' given my life. I thought ya ar' good an' honorable guys. Someone I can trust.
I thought together we may be able to build up again a strong Silverbrand. But now ya backstabbed me. Ya proof that I was wrong with all I thought of ya. Ya betrayed me, tha town an' tha citizens.
Never I treated any of ya bad, or lied to them. Ya ar' not able to name a single thing I did wrong to ya.
But believin' in lies an' bein' hungry for tha power ya betrayed what I saw as a good friendship. May Irmorom forgive ya souls for ya wrong doings, because I won't.

Ghorn , thou makes me laugh. Where I art from, the most liked emperor be thy one that knowest thy lands of his and also knowest of thy outside world!

I hath been in 'tis land for some weeks by now, I hath traveled to most places on thy island and neva hath I seen the foot of thine. 'Tis as if thou always stayest in thine underground dungen of thine dwarves. Only recently hath I heard of thou.

I belivest thou art afraid of thy outside world and that be thy reason thou art afraid to lose Silverbrand. Thou mayest sayest otherwise, but thy actions of thine say the opposite.

Wert thou has fallen, Durgin wilt rise. He knowest of thine outside world. He can hear thine knews of thine outside world. Thou, Ghorn, only hear what thou lackeys tell you. Mayest they tell lies to thou? Thou wouldst knowest if 'tis true and act upon what they sayest. Even thou best friend, mayest it be friend for centuries, can be treator. For proof, thou doth not seem to know Durgin was preparing 'tis.

Durgin be thy dwarf Silverbrand needs. Someone who dost not leavest thine realm only to battle, that is if thou actually do it. Durgin mayest need potions, but thy work of King 'tis not only about strent. 'Tis also about wisdam and knowledge.

Where I be from, even the weakest of body art respected if thine decisions of their art wise. Thy knowledge is sharen to thine people and thy minds and body learns. T'would need a king thast cans lead thy people, not order thy people.

If thou stils not understand, well thou dost not deserve thy followers. T'would be better for thy best of all that thou stayest alone in thy Silverbrand. Thy rest of the dwarves cans build another underground fortress. Thou wilt find that thy cans learns from thineself, but being wits friends 'tis much better.

.

Contract between Silverbrand and Trolls Bane wrote:The dwarven town Silverbrand and the town of Trolls Bane confirm and accept by mutual consent
sovereignty and independence of their reigns and leadership.

Due to this clause in the contract between Trolls Bane and Silverbrand, Trolls Bane won't acknowledge a reign under Durgin. He didn't achieve his position in the legimitate way, through the elder king, with whom the contract has been concluded.
According to the contract Trolls Bane will not accept a reign, which was build against the will of the elder king, or against the will of one of his chosen followers.

Furthermore I announce:

  • The town guard of Trolls Bane does not consent military help in the case of a civil war.
  • The town guard of Trolls Bane will neither help Silverbrand with the persecution of the outlaws, nor will Trolls Bane grant the outlaws asylum.
  • The laws of Trolls Bane are valid for everyone who enters the town. Expect for intervene when misdemeanors, like arousing a fight within town, happen.

***

Ye jus' show up, and want tha vote on matters on a town you didn't help to build? A town you earned nothing for, a town you dwarves have no right to aclaim?

That's ridicule! After the Gishmel incident, citizens are picked through rather strict tests and this whole incident prooves that it's right.

To Rogan Silverbeard:

Shame, we explained to you that you'd have to earn our respect first before you could expect to be a full citizen, because earlier Gishmel nearly destroyed the town by his foul actions. We told you to not take it personally, it's just a meassure to protect the town. Being a dwarf doesn't earn you any right on Silverbrand, it's all about fulfilling ones duty and ones dedication.
Now you want to call Irmorom on this? Hah, better call Ronagan for you try to steal a town away from those who worked for it!

To Theoric:

Why do you want to vote? You did nothing to build up or strenghten the town of Silverbrand, and just being a dwarf earns you no rights in this town build by hard workers, dedicated ancestors!
It's not your town and you're in no position to participate on its matters if you're no citizen and have never showed any interest in it before.

To Arameh, Stephen Rothman and all other surfacers:

Why do you even bother? These are dwarven matters and you got no say in deciding the rulership of a soveign town and kingdom. We do not interfere in your decisions among the knighthood or other towns so keep your advice for yourselves, it's in no way needed or wanted.

To Durgin:

You talk about your people. Who are they? Only dwarf I ever heard about and being a citizen of Silverbrand aswell is Belgram. The others never bothered to say hello or try to join the town, so why should they be allowed to decide about its future now? It's not your town, and it's definately not theirs. You are no dwarves you are robbers, trying to infest and take a town for your needs!

To Syrana:

Who are you anyway? Why do you bother about Silverbrand now? What gives you the right to have a say about what is to be done with the town?

To all the other dwarves:

Come think about it. Why do you think you should be allowed to live in Silverbrand just because you are dwarves? What would you have done if a group of dwarves would have claimed your home, said they'd decide from now on and force you out? Is that justice? Damn no!

Irmorom may guide me axe,
ye traitors shall fall.

All hail Ghorn, righteous king of the dwarves!

Thurbert,

Just like Ghorn, you do not understand my words. I was not a part of this. I no longer care for Silverbrand. I was told of this uprising, and I ignored it. Silverbrand itself is corrupted. It is no longer the city it once was. I will not have anything to do with it, but I do not wish to see dwarves in a civil war. That is why I suggested consulting out great creator, Irmorom.

And I applied for citizenship well before Gishmel's mistakes. I waiting many months for Xantor to talk with Tialdin on my behalf. It took too long in my opinion.

The only thing that I can see now as an option, is the founding of a new dwarven city. One that is not as corrupted as Silverbrand is. All who gain power are warped it seems in the great underground city now. I just do not see another way until Silverbrand is cleansed.

-----------------------

The Grey Rose announces:

We disdain the dishonouring act of Durgin, to have tried to replace Ghorn than king, heir of the monarchy of Silverbrand, founded by Tialdin, in use of violent acting.

By this acting we refuse all kind of help and trading contact to the rebels, leaded by Durgin. His selfcalled goverment can not be accepted as long their is no common soultion between all dwarves of Silberbrand.

The Grey Rose announces furthermore, that up to further, we do not want to interfere in this conflict.

So wanting ter be apart of silverbrand is not possible? All dwarves better no' go ter silverbrand 'cause how this 'ere dwarf put it, NO other dwarves accept the ones who have been there forever are woth nothin'. hate ter tell ya but i believe you are no' one who has help build this 'ere city. Also, i didnt say jus bein' a damn dwarf should give the right ter vote, i said anyone who has publically shown intrest and gone inter the first phases of join this 'ere city should be allowed ter vote. Seems ter me this 'ere votin' rule change over and over jus ter get yer Ghorn the stay in office. As i said before, if i don' have a chance ter vote i will show no honor or loyality EVER ter silverbrand.

This be slightly irritatin' that you would see it this way.

Ghorn is too greedy. He is too fast to his axe. His temper is too much. He is too angery. And, he is never around.

What kind of king is this? He would goven over merely 3 of his followin' dwarves, if even that many. We don't want silverbrand to come to an end, thus we acted, fer the best of silverbrand.

An' it ain' like we walked in an' killed 'em. They struck first! We fought for our kingdom, he fought for greed of becomin' king.

Lennier,

You and your Grey Rose fellows agree that a city should be ruled by a council and King that gave themselves power? All the clanlords just took those positions without a prior notice to citizens, or at least not on their message boards. Then they decide that one of the clanlords will follow Tialdin. Again, no choice given to the citizens. Its a tyrannical rulership now. Dwarves looking to find a place with their brethren are forced to go to a place that they have no choice in helping to make changes, the government picks itselfs.

I push for those that dislike Silverbrand to start funding a new dwarven city. I will do what I can to support it.

After mediting, I hath figured out.
There art those for Durgin. On thy other side there art those for 'what should be right', which is to follow what did old king wanted. 'Tis just a matter of tradition. Dost not seem to matter for them who gets on thy throne, as long as it's what Tialdin decided. Tell me if I be wrong.

If this be how it works here, I suppose it is right. If thy emperor decides to make thou worst enemy King, thou shoulds either leave or go against it right when thou hear about it.

Greedy?

I remember how i gave free armor to tha lad Belgram, without payment so that he is protected. I remember how i bought dozen of beer for tha lad Durgin, an' drank with him an' be merry, an' offered him help if he needs advice for his love things. I remember how I gave all my money I have into the treasury. Still ya say I am too greedy?

There is ya first lie.

Too fast with my axe, an' too hot tempered?

I don't remember when was tha last time that I drawed my axe before tha try of ya guys to takeover my town. Tha only fight I was ever in on tha isle was tha fight against Gabon. A fight he demanded to be.

Ya second lie.

Never around?

I don't know why do ya think I am never around, as I AM. Ya talk nonsense here (please stop your ooc views using ingame. just because you never see me ingame, what i am at least once a day, doesnt mean that i am never around))

Ya third lie.

Decidin' who will be clanlord?

Tha clanlords became clanlords after noone of tha clan wanted to stand against them an' let decide it through a duel. Everyone in a clan is able to become clanlord, he just has to challenge tha current Clanlord in a duel of his trade. Durgin was goin' to be tha new clanlord of tha clan of axe. Since noone wanted to hav' tha position too.

Ya fourth lie.

Ya say I made mayself king? Tha elderking, founder of Silverbrand, Tialdin accepted my wish to become new king an' made me tha new king.

Ya fifth lie.

All ya wrote is lied. Ya lie, ya wrote undwarven thoughts and views. I am ashamed. Ya don'T talk like dwarves, ya don't think like dwarves. Ya will never rule a dwarven town.
