The orc description on the site

It says
A bit smaler than humans, strong, dirty, smelly and cunning. They hate the light and can see good in the darkness. They are masters in weapon handling and wear heavy armor. They are good fighters but could also be evil priests for instance.

When I first saw it, I found it a little disturbing, since the author clearly sees the orcs negatively. I would not write they are "dirty", but rather that they "do not pay that much attention to the both the own look and smell, as well as on the other's." This text just sounds kinda descriminating. Besides I would rephraze the "Evil priest" thing. I would rather write "priest serving/satisfying evil gods", because the actual priest's altitude depends on his personality. Du ju agri?

Look, the whole game isn't going to be rewritten and reorganized just because one random person feels like complaining about everything he can think of.

Well, you only dislike my proposition only because i am a newb? Well, that is a good reason. Perhaps it's the orc decription that made me register on the forum. And yes, out of three ppl that posted here two disagree, but without giving an appropriate reason.

You know, he doesn't change the story noteable with his suggestions, just trying to put the orcs in a better light there.

Perhaps try to talk to the webmaster of the website or offer a paraphrased text yourself, orc lover.

Can't you lay off the new one a bit?

The idea is slightly silly as the orcs in game are dirty fighters that kill for the blood lord. Also you're just rewriting what is written with the evil priest part.

Well, it's just annoying like Hadrian's proposal-a-minute thing used to be. The devs have more important things to do than respond to a trivial proposal every fifteen seconds.

Ask misj, their going to have to think up a new name for "negerzoenen"

I just want to make it a little better. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind. That is what the forum is for. Do you eat newbs for breakfast? I don't think it is such a hard, hard-on-impossible job to polish the texts on the site a bit.

Well.

See, the texts are already being redone, anyway, and added to. And right now the devs are working on a druid system, a priest system, and updated combat system, and a new client release. So as I said, they have a lot on thier plates atm.

There is already a new orc description, but I think the implementing (i.e. revealing it to the public) is still in progress.

they also said they make good necromancers, they didn't say all orcs are necromancers, if you want a orc that just worships an evil god, go for it. this is how most people see orcs. like in lord of the rings. make your character description differant if you want to
