Varshikar NPC

Post by Mysterious Stranger »

how come the Varshikar orc NPC buys all items at half the price Eliza buys them. also how much would it cost to get her to go to normal prices because my charecter will help fund it if it can be changed.

The Varshikar NPC buys various items the trollsbane ones wont.

And it is the lacking of buying items from the npc and only selling, which depletes his quota of gold.

So if more were to buy from it then his buying prices would increase?

He's dynamic, so his buy/sell prices change due to various things. If you buy all but 1 arrow, that 1 arrow is going to cost ALOT more. Low supply with high demand means that supply is going to cost alot.

I know it will be a lot, but how much would a furnace and anvil cost for Varshikar and what GM will I have to ask about this because I smith as one of my jobs but if I live there like I do I have nowhere to smith which will mean I will have to back to Troll's bane.

Or you could go to Silberbrand like a REAL dwarf...

I'm not allowed in Silverbrand because I joined Kallahorn and they thought I would spy on them! Ludicrous!

Actually, I seem to remember Varshikar having a furnace before the wipe. It would really make sense for a city to have it's own forge, especially seeing that it is so far from Trollsbane.

so does anyone know what it would cost? because if I can it will be my mission to pay for it as my contribution to the city.

A furnace and anvil is already in the future for Gobaith. Although I still encourage players to come to me with things like this, since it also fits my role as map editor, the new GM for Varshikar would be Papoitsi.

Looking at this sentance of Aegohl, he might just turned your proposal down.
Since a anvil and furnace is already present it Trollsbane (which is part of Gobaith). ;)

But keep your hopes, this might be a typo.
