When is a kill a kill and when not?

Everything about Illarion that fits nowhere else. / Alles über Illarion was inhaltlich in kein anderes Board passt.

When is a kill a kill and when not?

Post by Kl'urk »

I have a serious problem, and I want to explain what sort of problem by an example.

My orc got the job to hunt and kill an elf. someone who attacked and send to cross three children. That means Kl'urk got a bounty to bring the elfs head. Now Kl'urk found that guy, and attacked and "killed" him. Made him a cloud. Now what?
When I chop of the elfs head after i made him a cloud and he got revived at the cross, do i have than his head and he got a new one? Or dissapears the head i hold when he got revived? Can I coun't him as killed? And whats with hands? When I chop him a hand off and he got revived?

Maybe a GM can help me with that. And I would be interested in other peoples opinion.

If the PO agrees with you to live the rest of the chars life with a missing hand.. so be it... it would be fun to watch...

But what happens? I killed that guy, he fly away as a cloud, and i chop his body the head if and go away with it. what happens when he revives? has he a new head and you have the same choped of? or dissapears the head i have?

A GM word would be nice.

Oh, and i choped his hand of while he was weak after i beaten him. he hadn't much chance to defend against the strong and fresh orc.

What if instead of boasting with a head, you show people a tatoo you made to commemorate the occasion of killing that person? or pretend everyone has a person item [ring or something] which you took instead

1) PM the person as if the person wants to #me being without a hand..

2) If no, then pretend the hand dissappeared, but the ring representing the synode remained in your hand...

EDIT > "the master" is Checkers i think...

best contract killer ever in Illa would bring the victims skin. Pm a screen shot of the "victim" as a cloud to there employer.
I would personally be annoyed if some one attacked pendar and then #me mamed him with out my consent as I still wish to play him. I believe there is a rule against mameing another character with out consent.
"Overplayed violations (tortures, mutilations, executions) are ommited if it's agreed by all participating players."
So as i read the rules you need a characters consent to behead them, cut of a limb or alter them perminantly.

Hope that helps

An after thought,
As a player i would propably just pretend the cross restored me entirely. As the bounty hunter sent him to the cross thats all i need.
So both partys should be okay..
