No people

I came onto this game so my character could be a thief and basically steal from other players (i know that might get me killed and i dont know if that stuff is baned) but i was under the illusion that there was alot of people

You, don't. It was misused for poles like "Do you like cookies?" Also, people need to sleep. It is possible to be a theif, I wouldn't suggest it for a first character since it can be difficult. There are some good strategies theives use but, "theiving" is harder than it sounds doing it alone.Dude500 wrote:ps how do you put a poll on?
Re: No people
Very simple: Not enough players. Too small community.Dude500 wrote:I have noticed that at one time there usually isnt that much people online whats with that?
Try to get more people in game and, surprise, there will be more people in game.

not enough people
still i think that there should be more advertising and i checked the statistics and it says theres more people on the forums then there are online
i think all the people should start to advertise on diferent sites i havent seen more than a single link of this game and more people should get off forums and start playing!

More people browsing the forum than playing: Right, but as Aristeaus said, not all CAN play 24/7. One cannot play Illa at work
More people: I agree, we need more people on
Large map: Gather at hot spots and you won't notice the large map. Hot spots are: Troll's Bane (shop), Silverbrand (workshop) and mummy cave

Trollsbane... not not now with the plants

And the people could maybe play while working, if you give the client an "windowed" mode. So I can put it into a corner of my screen and have an important confersation over ICQ and are able to E-Mail and just react, when anyone talks to me.
The conversations are slow enough to write on the E-Mail while the partner tips hin his next sentense.
But I try to play every free minute... well I played Guildwars a lot last weeks

I have my own Roleplaying Guild - the Ordo Scaenicorum - and the guild has strict rules. There are some Roleplayers in GuildWars.... but... as you see (I was nearly the whole day online in Illarion) I come back to the roots.

there you go Ziel.
Anyhow, I must say, I like the roleplay on other games too. World of Suckcraft (no Damien, it is WARcraft), has quite the good roleplayers in it, and so does Guild Wars. It just takes some searching. And as like Illarion, Warcraft has quite the intriguing history and race descriptions to fall back on.

I can say I havent recruited anybody to the game. IM TO PICKY about peoples rp now. See what you all have done. The hot times are around 11-Noon and 5-9pm if you can speak german 11-noon is a good time, and most other players geto on 5-9pm. But the community isnt really small you can have hours of good rp with just a few players.
I'm sure there would be a lot more people if getting into the game was easier. You sign up, wait 1-3 days for a response, then you have to create a character, and the GMs have to check that out, which is another 1-3 days. If you could sign up, do the RP test thingy, and create your character all at once, it'd be a lot easier, faster, and more people would come into the game and experament, and the more people mean it would spread faster by word of mouth, meaning you'd be getting a flow of new people in.
