When i was out exploring, i ran into this giant green thing in the trees. I ran away before i could find out if it meant me harm.

If anyone knows what i'm talking about, how strong is that thing? I usually just fight mummies, so how will i know when i'm ready for green giants?

that is no information or topic that should be discussed ooc. so play the game, and ask ingame, and perhaps try it.

Let's say: they're not weak. I'd follow Galim's advice and have your character ask around the town Troll's Bane. Maybe some people have some tales to share about those greenskins. Maybe you'll also think twice whether you'd ever fight them or not.

They are forest trolls, but keep in mind if your character wouldn't know, you should ask in game. You might also get a nice explanation of what they are and what they do.

Trust me... you did the right thing running away... but DO try to find out in-game...

Or else sit around a fire and start miming what you saw... the 'myserous creature'
