Lag on server

This is a long shot I know but currently the server is so laggy for me that I cannot play. Strange thing is that the forums downloads and other things are as usual. So it seems unlightly it is my ISP in this instance...most frustrateing.
Was just wondering if any one had any ideas, I usually lag a bit due to a slow dial up but this as i say impossible.
Have scanned for spyware and such of course

yah i dunno what it is i got broadband and somethimes have real bad lag

Pendar: Try closing all file-sharing programs, internet explorer, etc. Do you have a Nvidia GeForce?

reidan: Spyware may be the problem (have you checked)? You can download ad-aware6 (which removes loads of spyware) and then try to play.

While playing my char lagged a little after many steps, he'd get a little stuck then go for a bit. Normally this is unnoticable as it doesn't happen but a few times, but it did not run seemlessly as usually it does for me. Maybe the uni of vienna had alot of traffic recently for something.

I have had the same till I did a spyware check. Now everything runs as smoothly as it used to.

it is too laggy and i cant play as my chari dont even move
