No character with this name has been found!

I am sorry to bother everyone, but I have a problem. I recently made a new character and was eager to play this game. Unfortunately, when I typed in my character name and password to play, I got a black screen, and then a message box came up that said, "No character with this name has been found!" I looked back at my character name and typed it in again since I just figured that I typed my name in wrong. However, the same message came up again. I tried this several more times and had the same message pop up every time. I am sure as I can be that I typed in my name right. Could someone please tell me why this happened?

So you have made an account, answered the questions and were confirmed, submitted your character, had you character activated, distributed his attributes, and then tried this?

Oh. Sorry for being such an idiot. I forgot to set the attributes. Thank you very much though. You have been a big help.
