Hi,
My real name is Stephen and I have applied for an account. Firstly the query. I have searched to find the answer to this so forgive me if I am being dense or have missed the answer. Does the message telling you that you have been accepted/rejected come to your e-mail address or to the account in illarion? Also when I load up my account at the moment I am having to load it and then refresh it to get to my account page - is there something wrong?
Who I am: I am 23 yrs old (young). Looking for a youth work job and doing cleaning at a school part time through agency. I enjoy sailing, scottish dancing, films, fantasy genre (eveything from computer games to literature to, the recently started, warhammer to whatever I haven't yet done/mentioned) tennis, chess, astronomy(amateur) and having fun. Not to mention cooking, theatre and cinema going plus some other things that my brain doesn't remember at this hour.
I have played a variety of mmorpg's since I bought one whilst at uni (Ultima online). I quickly gave that one up because as soon as I had started the game someone gifted me an advanced suit of armour before I had even had chance to work out what was going on. I also did not like the idea of paying per month. I tried some other ones (runescape and tibia included) and became annoyed with them because; you had to kill about a thousand rats before you had enough money and / or experience to get anywhere and there was little interaction between characters.
That is essentially why I arrived here. It seemed different and, as much as I enjoy developing stats in AD&D games, I fancied something different. In addtion to this I heard, through a chat group, about SCA (society for creative anachronism) and would one day (when I can afford it) like to join it.
Sorry if I have waffled and this is too long........
I hope my story ending makes sense and look forward to either joining you in Illarion or being banished to lesser realms.
Stephen

Greetings.
I may be mistaken on this—but I think there are only two instances when you reply an email. One, definitely, is the automatic mail you receive, including a link which you click to activate the account. Now, as for the account acceptance, I am not sure if you still receive one as a confirmation these days, or just have to log into your account every now and then to see if the status has changed.
In any case, welcome.
Don't worry, the last change of this system is not too long back, the FAQs are on their way, and this is not too obvious at the time being. My real name is Stephen and I have applied for an account. Not necessarily. I'll take a stab in the dark and assume you're using IE as a browser. In this case, this is a glitch everybody using IE encounters. Using Firefox or Opera, this glitch won't occur. Also when I load up my account at the moment I am having to load it and then refresh it to get to my account page - is there something wrong?
I'm not going to hype things up now. I'll be honest and say that right now, what you're looking for in an MMORPG is waivering between what you don't want and what you want. A character wipe lies back not all too long ago. The client has changed. There are many, many bugs floating around at the moment. And there are plenty of players fixated on their skills and items, in fact some continuing the characters they played before the wipe and now almost manically trying to rebuild to what they had before the wipe. Still, a large majority here has a strong leniency towards RP, common sense, and logic. So in conclusion, you might really grow to like Illarion.I have played a variety of mmorpg's since I bought one whilst at uni (Ultima online).
