Some changes currently active on the server were not supposed to be active by now. Thus, a documentation and explanation will follow.

By now, I can answer your question: "You have to put the required tool in your hand" just means that you have to put that @*€!&\ tool (guess which one ;-) ) in your character's hand. As you might find out, this drawback is compensated by far by something positive...

Yes i found that out...

But i find it more annoying, and I think it will be harder to teach noobies how to play if we do this.. and we all know, that you have to take at least 10 minutes just to explain how to buy from sam and sell to eliza... This just complicates things more i think..

Oh well...

Oh I know that well. Fooser guilt-tripped me into even attempting that long process and I buckled under the guilt. XP These new ways of going about things are just making it more difficult to teach new players how the game works. Hell, I've been back a week now and I still don't even know the process by which I can mine freakin' ore and coal. I know it changed, and I am a bit lazy, but I still haven't figured it out. I don't really have the time to devote hours to just figuring out how things work, and neither do most players I've talked to about it.

I noticed another bug with one of my characters. When you equip a tool (in my case, a shovel), it completely erases your equipped shield. It doesn't put it in your inventory. It erases it.

MIning = Use rock with rock

But it has to be the special rocks with black under them... which, if you ask someone in game, they can show you.

Use the rock with itself.... That's logical XP

Me: "Come on, Mr. Rock. Give me ore.. please?"
The Rock: "Meh... I'll think about it."
Me: "You're a shrewd rock, that's for sure."
The Rock: "If you want the ore, you'd better shut up."
Me: "....fine."

You're right. I should have thought of that sooner, Ark. Thanks for the tip. Next time it will be a candlelit dinner for two underneath the moonlight. The main course will be... uh... soil. Or something.

Rocks like hot oil massages. You cannot expect the rock to give up what it values most to you without relaxing it first.

Dont worry Cain, I've been here right along and I still dont know how some of the new things work  That makes Ultimate Illarion a little outdated in some parts. By the way, it's the greatest web site ever.

Am I still part of that webpage? and CAin, just do what I do. NEver work, be a drag on the Illarion economy and beg. Eventually you will get what you want.

More than just Ra and Kel, actually, as of last night. I'll test it out again tonight.

What do you mean with "KEL" is not working? I was just testing a KEL-rune spell some minutes ago and it worked fine. Please describe what does not work in a way I can reproduce the malfunction.

I think he means the Runestone where you sacrifice a certain item to get Kel.

Nilo is correct. About half the Guardians cannot be summoned...though I think the problem may be with the items used to summon them rather than the Guardians themselves. All the working Guardians use the same 2 items I believe. I think all the non working ones use the other items. (Sorry for vagueness...dont want to give out any spoilers). I have PM'd Cassandra with a fuller explanation.
