account denied.. i don't get it

Post by azmyth »

I requested an account under the name "Ashlin Tovandez"

I answered both questions thorougly and intelligently as far as I could tell and was denied. They didn't give reason.

It said I could request again, but if I do not know why i was declined this time. How shall I request again, not having any clue what I did wrong.

I just want to play is all.

Post by azmyth »

I still don't understand. I posted once because I could not get the client to work in creating a character. I posted again, because I tried to do what I was told to do in the first post and that did not work. I did however finally get it to take my character.

I love games like this, and they are so hard to find. This is probably the first one I have found like this in a long time. A THE first I have ever found to have an actual graphical interface. Most of the time these games are all text based.

I'm not trying to spam, or what not. I just really want to get into this game. I' have been over the site frontwards and backwards, and I have read everything on the site regarding the rules, character creation, roleplaying and what not. I only post because even after reading all that. I do not understand why my account was denied. Thats all.

You don't have to create a new char but you must send another request.

Didn't anyone notice that this should have been in the account forum, not technical support?

All possible (!) ways are right, they only have to be reasonable and well-written.

Usually the GMs don't like us giving too many hints about the questions, because they want players who can think for themselves and truly understand the questions. However, because I feel that the question is incomplete, I will say this much, and I feel it isn't unacceptable for me to say it:

Just imagine as though you were in a pen and paper roleplaying game. Tell the GM what your character is doing, and leave it at where the GM needs to respond.

If the GMs find this clarification unacceptable, please delete it.

No problem!
If you have questions of any kind, feel free to ask them. And don't mind this post counter Rackere ;-) What he wants to tell you is, that it is more easy to help you when you put all informations and questions together in one post in one thread. This way, those who want to help you, find immediatly all required informations. (This is what I assume, am I not right, Rackere?)

@Moskher: Your post is OK

Yay!

Post by azmyth »

Well ,
I sent in another request. Spent some time researching the site, the different races, and the lore behind Illarion. After all that, I rewrote my ending to the story. and Thought of a more informative way to answer the question. Sent that in with much hesitation. I just checked my inbox. Alas I have been accepted on the 2nd go round. I guess it pays to not rush it. Now I'm just patiently waiting for my account to be open.

You are so damn right. Plus: Threads of other people could be seen without scrolling two sites.
