Do you guys use MySQL in the game? I'm just wondering if it it possible to create a DirectX powered C++ game with MySQL....

we currently do use mysql...
though we are switching to postgresql currently.

i would suggest to use the sqlplus library. For tutorials and example look here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/plusplus/en/index.html
