I've tryed everything from full health to low health, leather armor. clothing, nothing(no need to picture my character naked thank you). wand, no wand and so on. My character is at half capasity without his fireballs. and getting owned on by ogres is styarting to wear on my nerves. So whats the deal here? magic system change or something else? i figured i'd bring it up since no one else has or isn't having this problem.

Another magic system change?
ick been racking my brain out trying to figure out whats wrong with the magic system if there is anything wrong that is. most spells aside from creations food healing and flames just dont seem to do anything at all. and i'd just gotten out of using ice flame too

well thats a bit odd. even in the past i was able to cast easy spells like ra kel and such, and if it has to to with attributes and such, why would i still be able to cast very strong spells like ice flame but not weakers ones like ra kel eh go figure... maybe i'll make a new character or something.

Lies. You ARE indeed a traveling hobo. After all, you *did* travel all the way up to Northerot claiming you were "surveying the land," but for all I know you could've been eating baked beans looking for somebody to get cash from.Falk vom Wald wrote:I am not a travelling hobo. Meet me at Eldan monastery. I'll be there right now and I expect you to roleplay.

lets just say it pays not to be injured or head long in a fight when you want to use magic. and don't feel to bad Nilo, i don't have my fireball...*sniff* i do miss it so. but aside from that the changes to the system are more realistic, they don't really take away strength from mages but they do make things a bit more fair. of course it would still a horrible insane idea to rush a mage from across Screen. so now all mages will have to know close combat just like me. welcome to my world.
