Solitary Confinement - There are always rampant evil killers
I propose that a building is created, a prison of somesort. If somone is caught breaking the rules a number of times (Especially Pking), they get imprisoned for a period of time. Or even better some kind of big pit full of tigers. Even better a big dark room, of somesort. maybe thats not better. But anyway, "up with imprisonment, yeah!"

Hey, if its a crime to die and get killed by people then call me accused and throw me in the slammer. If i'm going down your coming down with me, ahem......not to say anything about terrorists but. In the words of the great Houdini "Sean-san you are evil". So how'd you like that hmmmm

He he - this is suposed to be a suggestion board, not a battle ground
#me chuckles to himself
but it sounds like a very good idea, but i supose sean would probably oppose it like he does with anything new think, especially newbies, like i was.
Anyway, a prison called ' The Seanshank Redemption' would be a great idea for illarion

A prison would be an in-game element for punishment, an element of roleplaying. Therefore you can imprison murderers, thieves etc. in such a prison. "Crimes" that were out of character, like spamming, mixing characters, random killing, bugusing... have noting to do with roleplaying and can't be handled in a roleplay institution like this prison.

But who would have the power to decide who is murderer, who just a man defending hes life?
Town council?
Hehehe, no sorry guys, it would be way too much for the council to handle, if the council still even exists.
Special judges?
Chosen by whom?
Could these "judges" be honest, and not care about their personal dislike towards player/character?
But we really need and island with cells, where to put all these "criminals"...when the problem about who is man/woman enough to be honest judge.
My opinion is that maybe in future this kind of facility/island could be raised by the gods, if all the problems regarding this matter would be solved.
Also: i would be very sad to see person who the majority of people dislike to be victim of justice murder, maybe the judges would have to swear an oath?
All this could just happen after all the problems would be solved, we have lots of smart people around here, someone migth come up with solution i think.

The question who will be judge, where do judges come from, must they swear an oath, how do they punish... are completely in-game questions and could be disussed in game or on the RPG board.

i COULD copy my post on rpg board (or you could), but discusssing about it would be a bit early, wouldnt it?
we have no place to put these sentenced "criminals", or other ways to punish them...
except for killing them, but kill someone for stealing a bucket? uhh-huh?

It just appeared to me that you wait for the programmers to create a court institution, play judges etc. So I tried to make clear that this is completely up to the players. We provide the enciroment, the players fill it with life, gouverments etc. If the players choose anarchy, live with it, if players choose to install a monarchy or aristocraty - go ahead.

no..i expect you to do nothing, and i am not even asking you to do anything.
i never proposed that the GM's would play gods, hell no, i just asked theoretical question, where do we find trustworthy and honest people, who are ready and willing to forget their personal feelings towards any char/player.
i also some people who are smarter than just a common blacksmith could try to figure out forms of punishments, other than killing, fine, perhaps?
i know there is/was a certain small island near shoreline, wich COULD work as prison, banishment place for persons that have been found quilty..but how to prevent people from killing eachother?

we could simply give the oldest player who is active and that we trust the power as a judge or something
