Character reset?

What is this suposed to mean?
i dont want to join a game that wil delete my character

After the test phase, there will be a reset, so all characters are deleted.

i found it from this link under miscelaneus and it says they are already working on this
working to delete all characters?????????????

It will most likely have to happen, when big system changes are done. As long as possible, it will be avoided.

What I want to know, is will people be grabbing roles and names wholesale.
People will try and snap up names like Darlok and Damien (and Brendan Mason

) really quickly. Or will we retain our old names and characters, and just lose the skills.

This is not planned in detail.
I mean, we express the possible need for that, which doesn't mean that we asked the CIA to plan that in very detail.

They better not let anyone take old names that never belonged to them. That would be awful to see your old character there being played awful and wrong by someone else.

I think there will be a way to block at least the names, until the "rightful owner" (password holder) claims it again, IF there is a reset.
