((Nilo, dont be ignorant. Luise's native tongue is not English. Despite this fact she has near mastership of the tongue. One could wish for the same to be said of you.))
A journey hardened Carrier-Pigeon arrives in Greenbriar, attached to it's leg is a small note. The note is a little damp and dated over a week old. It reads:
Dear Friends,
I apologise for my sudden absense but I have gone to visit my brother Miles. I expect that by the time this pigeon reaches you that this letter will be a few days old. Until my return, take care.
Hermie.
((It is unfortunate that once again my character suffers technical difficulties, and it is still unclear as to if he can be saved, I hope I can get back in game soon.))
Whatever happened to holding a race/guild race? I am sure we could get many of our friends to do a race for money.. I'll pay for it all. Winner would get 3 gold ingots, 50 cabbage seeds, 5 strawberry cakes and a bottle of wine.
Second place would get 1 gold ingot, 25 cabbage seeds and five bottles of beer to drown his sorrows.
The race would be from the cross in town to the Cross in the Northern Forest, then back again.
I'll just need to decide on win to hold it...
Bumbol, doesn't that path go past the mummies? Wouldn't it be better to choose a safer route?
Nilo, all we would need is one person at the northern cross and one in town and no-one would be able to cheat. It could not be more obvious that you are bitter towards us after you were rejected from joining us. After your rejection you state that Greenbriar is a barren wasteland, which is just a petty attack as Greenbriar is home to many lush trees and the largest fertile farmland on this isle. Seeing that you can so easily change your mind from wanting to join the Evergreen to disliking it, it is clear that the council made a wise choice in rejecting you. Such unpredictability surely shows your mental instability. Your a good friend Nilo, if you could just grow up.
I have no friend of the Evergreen Halflings, as I have indeed been rejected by my former friends. I have no want to join, and i have no jealousy towards you. I am deeply commited to my own guild, and could care less about your home or guild.
Furthermore, I am quite stable with my mentality, and I suggest that some of you get that checked on by a healer, as you obviously do not.
Nilo your jealous. Don't deny it. You asked so freindly to join our guild, you were denied and you go ranting and raving that we are unfair. Your Jealous.
Nilo, when I heard you were in town again I was excited about meeting you again. Then word got around that you had killed several people, including King Tialdin. I suppose this was the main reason why the coincil members voted against your joining.
Actually, just to clear things up, he started insulting us and saying he didn't need to apply for membership. We graciously let him apply once his tempers had cooled. We considered him for sufficient time, just as we did all members. We came to the agreement that he would do more harm for us than good.
Yours with sentiments,
Brendan Mason
Councillor of Greenbriar and the Evergreen Halflings.
