i think that teh charector numbers should nmo longer be displayed ingame
i understand that they are important for technical reason and such, but people do memorize numbers. that leasds to char minxing and poor roleplay, intentional or not
there should be absolutely no way to identify someone you dont know
this isnt a fully baked idea, adn i am pretty sure that there has been mention of this in the past, but saying it couldnt hurt
Charector Numbers

accually if you want to know someone's name you could inconspicuously follow them around until they meet someone who does and they say "Hello (insert name here)" and then you can remember them. I happen to remember people who haven't introduced themselves but have done business with me too, by how they "look" or their number. I don't think it is very bad in a way, but I agree many people mix this with IC.
I think the main reason for them is to report ooc violations to the gm's.

deies, the GMs have stated you shouldn't remember someone you haven't been introduced to. Haven't you ever thought that maybe Gru'kuk was wearing headgear everytime you saw him? I don't think so, this is because you need to have something infront of you to be able to roleplay, use your brain, we shouldn't have to make graphics for every detail in this game that can easily be roleplayed.
